I really hope we see Engineers and Aliens interacting - aka slogging it out.

Maybe we ll see some flashback scenes from the distant past (holograms)
or maybe some Engineers are still alive in Paradise.... We shall see :)

I m happy to know that Engineers are not forgotten like Shaw.

I dont know if someone already posted this...?

According to Wayne Haag, Blomkamp's Alien is going to

Well, he would have worked directly with Scott and might have asked him about it. Very good chance it's true.

So just another decade or so to wait for Alienkamp.  :(

In Prometheus they were all running for their lives..so lets hope they got some awesome weapons? Makes no sense for such an advanced race to not have any security detail when bio-engineering monsters...if shit gets out, their only plan was to run?...

I really hope he's mistaken. That would be a terrible idea.

I'm sure there's a whole corner of the internet available to you if that's your interest.

Considering Scott has just signed on to direct an adaptation of Wraiths of the Broken Land, we may be waiting another 5 years just for the next Covenant sequel, never mind Alien 5. If Scott's stance really is to hold off Blomkamp's film until he's done with his new trilogy, then chances are we'll never see it.

Whiskeybrewer

Sounds like AlienKamp may not happen then if we have to wait for the Covenant trilogy to finish. Which means Prometheous is Standalone then?

Corporal Hicks

I replied asking if Wayne was sure and he said that's what he'd heard.  :-\

TheBATMAN

Yeah, I'm hoping he may have misunderstood. Signourney Weaver said they had to wait until Alien Covenant was released before they proceed. I can only assume Blomkamp wanted to reveal things about the Engineers that Scott wants put off until he's told his story first. But hopefully whatever that is is told in Covenant alone and not the next three combined. The likes of Michael Biehn and Sigourney Weaver will be in their 70's by the time all three Covenant prequels are done.

Isn't he also signed on to direct The Prisoner? It took five years between Prometheus and Alien: Covenant so at best we're probably looking at ten years for him to do the whole trilogy. Michael Biehn will look like Mr. Weyland by then!

But from whom, that is the question.

Enoch

Maybe they will shoot all three movies back to back...? :-*

Jussie [Smollett] is back in Australia for the week finishing off the Alien Covenant Movie. He will return to America - New York on Saturday. Next week he will be Co - host on the Kelly and Michael Show

@Corporal Hicks

I was thinking something like Species, with all the sexual catalysts and transformations. It wouldn't not be at home with Giger's work, either.
