They should have gotten Clint Eastwood for that role...

But with regards to that puzzling McBride pic, here's my theory. Ridley got access to several of NASA's facilities during the filming of The Martian. The Martian was of course also a great success and a terrific advertisement for NASA.

So it might be possible that Ridley asked one of his contacts there if McBride could make use of one of their simulators to better prepare him for the role of a space pilot. This would likely have been documented as well for the DVD extras, therefore accounting for the presence of the cameras.

Lol I wish I did. No, I've no idea if we'll be seeing anything. I didn't think it was outside the realms of possibly for them to share something on social media this weekend, perhaps a behind the scenes featurette.

I know the panel is supposed to be Aliens related but there's also a tiny chance Alien 3.2 or Covenant will get brought up.
