There is a clause in the Non Disclosure Agreement which specifically states any external or public discussion or revelation of the contents of the movie in any way must be discouraged.  On penalty of total forfeiture of shares. No money.

Possibly - but unlikely.  You've never signed an NDA before, have you?  If this is the design of the creature, you can expect Fox to pull a take down order for that .gif real fast.

I'll be happy to see a call back to Giger's original design but I don't think this is it.

Finished my run on Alien : Covenant and I must admit that working with Ridley Scott and the plethora of talented friends around me made a dream job all the more special and surreal. Can't wait til Aug next year, it's gonna blow your mind!!!
Special thanks to Eunice Song Hallett and all my mates/family for tolerating my complete absence for the past 8 months, missing phone calls and ignoring emails. I basically had no days off and did an insurmountable load of late nights/all nighters, but from all accounts it was totally worth it!

That looks a lot like the beluga alien I thin it was called. That was the Fifield transformation from the concept art for Spaihts's Script.

Is there a chance then we might see more of the unused creature designs from Prometheus(or at least the pre Lindelof concept art) in Covenant?

I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with Covenant or Prometheus outside of being created by a fella working on Covvie. Dane wasn't involved with Prometheus.
