(New to site but long time love of both franchise)
So watched Prey when it came out. Loved it.
Rewatching Requiem and I cant understand a few things.
The film picks up straight after the first AvP and the Predator ship is flying around Earth for what reason? Surely they would take off from Earth and leave for their homeworld or another planet. If they are waiting for another hunter else where then does that main there is a stranded Predator of Earth somewhere (AvP 3 ideas!!)
Second point. Then Predalien (may its name be forever cursed) grew something stupidly quick from the chestburster. Like 5minutes stupid quick.
Third thing. We see the Predalien (may its name be forever cursed) kill atleast two Predators. But what about all the other Predators on the ship. There is a Predator Elder at the end of the first AvP where is he and the rest of the clan? They can not have all died on the crash.
Fourth. Why did the Predator shot a hole in its own ship?!?!
Fifth. Wolf left its homeworld and got to Earth on his single craft extremely quickly. (Not counting The Predator movie with wormhole tech) he must habe been traveling faster than light speed to get to Earth in that short ofna time just after the crash. How did he also expect to get off Earth when he jetted off his craft?
Anyways just reading into the movie too much. Some great ideas in the movie. The new addition to the Alien life cycle I personally like it. Predator new toys. But the humans where just for cannon bait.

It was cut from the theatrical release, but the ship that crashes isn't the mothership. It's a scoutship that detaches from the mothershop and heads back to Earth for some reason.

The ship that crashes is a much smaller vessel...it detaches from the mothership around Saturn IIRC and flies back toward Earth as shown in extended version
This is kinda nonsensical as well

The ship the Predalien is on seperated from the main ship that has the Elder and the other Yautja. The ship the Predalien is on, seems to be a science vessell that was housing Facehuggers and headed somewhere else, when "the mission went to pot."
