The AvP2 International Trailer has made its way onto various movie websites including TheMovieBox and RopeofSilicon. It’s the same trailer that was on YouTube – From Giga.de. But this time it’s in better quality.

The only additional scenes from the US version is the shot of the ship crashing onto Earth and the title says Alien vs Predator 2. It also gives the website as aliensversuspredator2movie.com.

EDIT: Also worth noting is that the trailer (the one I watched at least) refers to the film as Aliens vs Predator 2 which would seem to indiciate they’re only using the Requiem and Christmas marketing in the US. It makes sense since that’s the country getting the Christmas release – so far. (Hicks)

OK, same trailer except for another problem...sheesh...  a BURNING ship crashing in a forest... Ca anyone say 'MAJOR FIRE ERUPTING'...that is, if movies like these were even remotely grounded on reality, even if for the physics part...  So, apparently, a burning ship crashes in a forest and no fire whatsoever...all we see is the search party searching for the missing father and son...maybe the man is the mayor or something...Because Colin said the town was not as small as the real Gunnison, So I have to assume that they don't know eachother that well like if you were from a real smalltown...So, my guess is the hunter who gets facehugged is someone important in the community...  So, that's my main concern with this added scene in the IT:   'WHERE'S THE FIRE...?'    :D     ;)  

Good news. I'm not really a fan of the Requiem subtitle. It sounds far too lofty for something that's going to be an action movie. I agree with a suggestion I heard earlier that it would have suited Alien 3 which, lets face it, has been the only really quasi-spiritual instalment in either series.

Death Sentence is out today in the UK too. I saw it on this weeks times sheet at work. I'll be going in to check the trailer.

Why would the international title need to be something different than the US!? AVP-R is fine, though I'd prefer "ALIENS VS. PREDATOR" everywhere and be done with it. Apparently Fo doesn't think we'd notice the slight name change from one to the other. I'd rather not have the "2" in this country, it just seems like dumbing down and I like the idea of this movie having it's own identity from the first.

Optimus Prime - I'm from England.  I just don't see at all why we need to get another title? This is just like the name changes for the recent Die Hard... so so uneccessary to do! It's gonna be confusing for fans around the world to refer to this movie with different titles. Just f**kin stick to one title around the world and go with it! Having "Requiem" at the end doesn't confine it to just the US, regardless of release date. In years to come, we need to call this film one title.

If one where think about it,showing the trailer at the movie death sentence is a good idea for marketing.They take a realy kick-ass trailer and they show it before the movie(Which is probably lame).You then have everyone coming to see just the trailer,which meens they spend $5 to $30!.Then they get there buddies to go see the trailer,then they say "Well,i pay'd this much to see the trailer,i might as well watch the movie.".Then the companies rake up huge sums of money because of those people.And before you say "No ones stupid enough to do that!!!.",yes,people ARE stupid enough to do that.Just look at that guy who was 30 years old,had a college degree and a wife and kids,then he took one of those hollow chocolet balls filled with a toy and swallow'ed it hole,then he choked to death on it.So yes ,they are stupid enough to do that.And as for the title,ya requiem sounded cool,but i liked "aliens versus predator:survival of the fittest" the most.But hey,they might just give that title to AVP3!   ;D  .

Dear FOX im speaking on behalf of the europe fans. Can you please change the international title to either ALIENS VS. PREDATOR or ALIENS VS. PREDATOR REQUIEM.  One title will be just fine and in years to come what the hell do we call this movie AVP2 no AVP-R no Aliens vs Predator Requiem no! Aliens vs. Predator 2, no Alien vs. Predator: Survival Of The Fitteset, no AvP2 Requiem, no Alien vs. Predator 2  Fox are wankers! when this flick comes out on DVD im going to have to buy an import just to get the better title and logo. The title is not that important. What really concernes me is that whether will be deleted scenes in the european version. I don´t know how it works for theaters, but some of the movies home versions and specially the tv versions have lots of deleted scenes! To have an idea, when i played the first AVP game, i didn´t  know what centry guns were! The centry guns were part of a deleted scene in Aliens movie (TV version) whitch obviously was considered "not important"! This is crap!

  ;)  i have heard this from the game but i dont know if it is true for the movie.    :o  the crashed predator ship which has the alien facehuggers in it is meant to be the predator ship from predator 1.   ;D    and this is just  a guess not from the game, but if there is no queen then the whole town will not be filled with aliens. my guess is that the predator ship has more than two facehuggers , around 8 in total counting the deaths from the trailer, 7 warrior aliens and 1 predalien. another thing i notice is that these aliens arent taking any prisoners for the queen. they r acting like the alien from alien 1 and 3. those no queen so theyll just kill everyone.   ::)     if anyone can prove me wrong please tell me because 7 aliens and 1 predalien would kind of suck   ???  

I quite like the ship streaking across the sky and then crashing, personally. :)  YD is right, though. By rights, that should cause stuff to catch on flames. It depends if it's behind some sort of 'forcefield' or whatever, I suppose.

well i love goop...technically the drones can morph/metamorphisis into a queen if needed....but the theory of no queen is a good one..i mean we never got any confirmation of a queen because no one that got interviewed worked with one and we obviousely shouldve seen it by now...

i really don't know what to say because it is just a f**king title, all that counts is how the movie is. As for all of you who say that you are not going to watch the movie now (beause some said that) and others said f**k AvP f**k Bro Strause and f**k Fox I just have to say that you all (who said these) are not true AvP fans. as for the Queen, who knows, that could be one of those things that Colin said was not going to be revealed in any trailer. I think the title being different probably has to do with them not wanting american audiences thinking this movie has much to do with the first one, because that would be a turnoff to alot of people/fans.   I dont know why that would be less likely to turn off foreign audiences but that the only reason I can think of. Maybe therye not as hardcore Alien/Pred fans as americans are.

I know there are hardcore fans in foreign countries (isnt the guy that runs this site from the UK?) but I dont think there are as many as there are in the U.S., and the first movie isnt as hated as it is in the U.S. I dunno, its a theory.

I like Aliens vs Predator! That would fit nicely in my collection if I burn my AR and AVP dvds. So this crashlanding OUGHT to have started a fire, but if a fire would erupt, then not only the hunter and son would have seen it, but EVERYONE, especially Gunnison's Fire brigade, and then there would be trouble because there would be more than one person knowing the Predator ship was down there, so pop goes continuity...   ::)    I mean it, the more I see about this movie, the less motivated I get to see it... One mistake after another...   :D

Okay its all making sense now. UK gets AVP2 as a title becasue your not getting it on christmas.
