Alien Isolation is the only reason I want an Oculus Rift I saw a streamer on Twitch playing Alien Isolation on one and he said playing the game a second time round with the rift was more frightening to play.  He did scream a lot lol.

I can still remember what it was like coming out of that room playing Isolation for the first time on a monitor. My heart would not stop pounding. I had to literally take some time to calm the hell down. It was so terrifying and exhilarating. I honestly don't think I'd be able to cope with it.

I've tried it with xbox one using the Kinect and it's crazy.  My mobile phone would go off or a friend would talk to me and BAM! dead   You can also use head tracking so if you move your head to peer around corners etc Amanda will to.  Not tried that feature yet though.

yeah, I think this was the reason why this guy laughed so much, I played this game alone in total darkness and it was really differently

I play with the lights off and the gamma down way low. Makes for an intense experience!
