Deadwood Season 2 Finale

This episode was great. So much shit that was set up throughout the season just came to a head in this episode, and it was fun to watch. It was intense, wrenching, and funny. Goddamn, I love the characters in this show, even the ones I hate. I highly recommend checking this show out.

Game of Thrones

Not a bad start to the series. Definitely got me interested, and I'll be keeping an eye on it.

[Nightmare Asylum]

Firefly: Trash

Well, the return of a special someone was a nice surprise. I really liked how the whole situation turned out by the end of the episode. Fitting.

But my favorite part of the episode was probably the side story with Simon, River and Jayne. I kind of figured that that plot point would be forgotten, but was happy to see it return.

Three episodes and the movie to go!

EDIT: Also, River's last statement to Jayne...the one about her brain. I take it that that is a huge set up. I'm certainly intrigued.

Well that was a surprise. All I really have to say is, with characterization like this, its really such a shame that this show was canceled. Also, I love Jayne's hat

Two more episodes and Serenity to go now. Unfortunately, I think I read online two characters that die in Serenity I hope knowing this doesn't take away from my enjoyment of the movie. It certainly hasn't taken anything away from the series. Still, I would have preferred a surprise. At least I don't know how or when it happens.

I only had one of them spoiled, and that was in a spoiler tag without any explanation before I had even started watching the show, so the other had a greater impact. I don't know, it kind of put a damper on the viewing to be honest.
