Better than the Engineers (being responsible for the creation of the Alien) in their current iteration.

What do you mean?

[cancerblack]

She'd rather eldritch horrors to large humans, I'm guessing.

More specifically:

The Alien being created by an Artificial Intelligence I prefer to the Alien being created by essentially ancient spacefaring humanity.

PAS Spinelli

I prefer neither cuz both are dumb, I like that old ass headcanon that the spacejockeys are the actual creators of both Engineers and Humans and that the Aliens are something that predate all of them/is a weapon made by them

That's my ideal take as well.

I mean "Alien to life itself" obviously yeah, but that's not an option at present unfortunately.

The Jockeys being the fathers of the xenomorph? And how did that work? Seriously, there was a panel or two in the comics which didnt allude to anything other than the jockeys having elephant trunks. No one author made any attempt to decipher anything about how the xenos were made. Whatever we got in prometheus is  better than any comicbook panel or some imaginative assumptions. I can't stand the notion that people think the jockey has an elephant trunk (there was a pixel based aliens game that depicted this. If thats what people stood by, then people just have terrible imaginations or would rather take a pixel based cartoon over an actual film) and that we were going to get fancy pants star wars story.

Its a pixel based cartoon. I'm impressed that it holds any water as canon.
oh, and lets not forget about this badboy. The artist fails at drawing perspective too. But since its canon....people likes.

I'm not sure what you're trying to convey here, but I'm pretty sure I disagree with it.

 this is dumb.

I agree with PAS Spinelli.

PAS Spinelli

I don't think he knows what headcanon means lol

Xenomrph

We're expressing that we disagree with your opinion.

I don't understand why people continue to bring that comic take, as an argument for why the Space Jockey cannot be anything other than a human wearing a suit.

Do you really think that a Space Jockey who is not a dude wearing a suit would be a fleshy elephant man? Just as the Alien has an exoskeleton, it's easy to think of the Derelict's pilot race as biomechanical beings.

It's just a bad take / interpretation of Giger's work. That's all.  :P
