So we better be saying Paxton "confronted" 3 mythic movie antagonists instead of being killed by those 3  ;D

Three of the greats laid hands on him. There's something to be said for that.

It means no one can resist him. Not the guys, not the gals, not even aliens and robots.

I'll just have to settle for owning an action figure.

The look, the feel...of Paxton.

How to stay single 101: devote much of your time to plastic that resembles actors you'll never meet.

You make that sound like a negative.

Some days it's positive, some days it's negative.

Just out of curiosity, is Plastic Hudson braver than human Hudson?

I mean he must be, I'm sure at some point he's faced off against all kinds of things like dinosaurs, grenade wielding teddy bears, darth vader, GI Joe and there was that rumor of a Buzz Lightyear backyard showdown in Canada way back in the early 2000's.

Perhaps he should be added to the poll?

I'll think about it.

I got plans for plastic Hudson when I get him. One includes a house cat, and fake animal skeletons sold around Halloween.

I wonder what people think when they wonder into this thread and say to themselves 'so this is what alien and predator fans think about'.

This is nothing. They need to wander into the skull threads and the Alien 3/no Alien 3 threads for that.

Either way, we're still geeks to the outside world.

Well at least the donkey porn thread was deleted. More on to the point I don't know why we can't just get a serious alien related movie every year. I mean Lance is still kicking and could play a Bishop role and get killed by Decker too. That would really pad the death resume. Maybe god will think "hey man you died in films so many times, wanna have another go at this thing called life."

He'll be the last living cast member of any Alien movie for sure. I'm not ready to cry my eyes out if he or Rolston or Biehn go next.

windebieste

John Hurt holds the record for characters dying onscreen.  At 43 deaths, it's the official record outstripping Vincent Price, Bela Lugosi and Sean Bean.

...and he's been killed by an Alien, twice.

Beat that Paxton!  Beat that Henriksen.  :P

I was about to say, "Twice? When?" and then I remembered Spaceballs. Brainfart.

Instead it's been an endless argument since 2015 about a dead Alien project
that discussion keeps being disingenuously rejuvenated by various photos and statements.

"Totally dead." If so-
Just release the damn script/treatment to put it to bed.
Stop unfairly tantalizing/angering people.

They'll never release it. It's going to be Neil and his powerloaders vs. Scott and his androids for years to come.

The war of preferred directions rages on. And whatever we do get, nobody is likely to be satisfied.

But there's one thing I'll give to Scott. At least he tried to do something different and more horror-related. All Neil wants is Aliens 2.
