I wouldn't have thought so.  Seth Macfarlane is excrutiatingly unfunny and the promos they have on local TV don't do anything to allay that. But I watched an episode because so many raved about it.  There weren't any jokes - even unfunny ones.  If I want to watch Star Trek without jokes - I'll just watch Star Trek.

The Orville Will Move to Hulu for Its Third Season

I picked up Season 1 at the weekend and have watched half the season. I found myself really enjoying it. Some of the humor is a little miss for me - as I find McFarlane in general - but what makes me chuckle, really works for me.

Finished Season 1. I enjoyed it. Had some chuckles. But it wasn't great. Think I'll give Season 2 a go.
