Thus far, I absolutely love Alien:Isolation! I received my Oculus Rift in the mail last week, and I purchased this game shortly afterwards. I had configured it to play on the Oculus immediately; I haven't even tried it normally yet. I must say, it is certainly an amazing experience! I can't remember a game scaring me quite like this, and I barely get scared for games or movies at all. Getting beaten by a droid, or killed by the Xenomorph is utterly horrifying.

One thing that kills the experience though, is wrestling with HUD, and menus. Or straining your eyes, trying to read blurry text. However, its not the games fault, because it wasn't prioritized for VR really. Though I really wish the developers had arranged Oculus support before release.

Has anyone heard of any kind of modified HUD to improve the VR experience? If not, I hope some genius out in the world creates one soon.
