I had only watched the trailers until recently on my laptop so the audio has not been great. The other night i played on my PS3 and picked up a very interesting line in the audio that i dont think has been mentioned.
Around 1:40 into the international trailer a male character can be clearly heard saying "that thing is opened up from the inside"
We have to conclude form this that some kind of burster is in the movie.
