AvP3 - Really?

So, the Brothers Strause had always talked about doing another one but they’ve since vanished from regularly appearing here. Well, according to Shock Till You Drop, there’s another one coming:

“An anonymous source over at 20th Century Fox got in touch with us over the weekend to relay the news another Aliens vs. Predator sequel is a “certainty” at this point. If you recall, the brothers Strause – who helmed the Christmas release Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem – stated Fox was going to take a “wait-and-see” approach to a third chapter, furthermore, that the story would have to continue in space (details). “AvP-R” grossed a worldwide total of $128.8 million; $41 million domestically. It hits DVD on April 15th (specs and art). No word yet if the Strause brothers will return to the franchise.”

I’m currently waiting back on word from our own sources. Thanks to Chocolate Man! for the hint.

Why brothers Strause still live? I'm not against AvP 3 but i've hope the third part gonna be created by  competent person like. Finch, Cameron or some other inteligent life form.

well if its set in space that means we have to have something that at least is a little like we all wanted to begin with. I'm shocked AVPR made so much cash in the movies. I do love references to old movies but AVPr had too many, we need someone who takes it seriously to make it and will try to make it their own instead of throwing the fans a bone. Strause brothers at least tried someone, they gave us action where Anderson gave a crap story and no action. Still I give a reluctant yay and like I said in the past I will buy whatever has aliens or predators in it

AVP3 thats good news! end this franchise with a trilogy. I hope the brothers strause return to direct but if they direct a few movies first for a little more experience, that would be great also FOX need to make sure they obtain a decent 'epic' script because that was the main issue with AVP-R.  Go Team Strause!
