Excellent news! Can't wait to listen to a proper release.

That vinyl and cassette are gorgeous!  This 10th anniversary was more event-filled than I anticipated :)

I'm loving the decision to release a cassette. It's just such an Isolation vibe. I've preordered both. I think it's time I buy a record player - that's the main way things are getting physical releases now.

Really annoying that this is not getting a CD.

Super happy it's finally out mainstream though.

When a modern soundtarck gets released on inferior, ye olde gramophone record and casette formats, yet not CD...

I'm so happy this is happening, but my gosh, did it really need to take ten years?

While it's infinitely appropriate for Isolation in that lofi-scifi way, I find the irony immensely amusing.

Vinyl's not inferior to CD lol, it's totally analogue and very high quality. CD just does not move as much as vinyl does now, and it is superior only to cassette and most convenient digital steaming.

Predatorium

I'm listening to it on Spotify and it's freaking amazing! Deserves a full listen with proper headphones.

Harrrrrrrrrd disagree. The series is literally set in the future. The computer interfaces only look retro with the benefit of hindsight.

It just makes no logical sense to be releasing it on more primitive formats and not even have an audio CD available as an option. Like... Yeah, it's good to have options, but to remove the most obvious modern one is bizarre.

The game's entire feel is retro. It's very appropriate. It sucks for us who wanted a CD release, but it's still very on-brand for the game. And in that way, I really appreciate it.
