Bought KOTOR for about tree fiddy on the weekend.

I know its an RPG and all, but I don't dig the combat system.

They are still releasing new expansions but the game is supposedly not canon?

I imagine it must generate some revenue to justify Disney/Lucasfilm letting this MMORPG continue to run. But as far as I know it's not canon.

The same here. I played it in 2014! 😂 

First as a Republic Jedi Knight (female human), then as an Empire Sith Inquisitor (also female human) and finally as a Republic Trooper (male Zabrak).

I still dig this ship design. 

Narratively speaking I prefer the Kotor duology though, especially the second game. I actually liked the designs a bit more (ships, Sith armor for example) because they weren't a rehash (with the exception of Republic troops similar to rebel soldiers) of the OT. It really seemed like something taking place millennia before the movies.
