Some of them are variations of things we've seen previously. There's a clearer shot of the giant head and the urns. There's also a new shot of the Engineer statues with the red lasers scanning them.

Comments on each pic:
1) David looks like a little kid in that chair (in more ways than one). Also, it's cool to get a good look at that whole console lit up. I remember when some folks thought those were eggs...derf.
2) Is Shaw looking at an old image (or video) of herself as a child?
3) Wonder if that shot of Janek at the controls is during the initial landing or pre-Juggy crash.
4) That Eng face is becoming a very iconic image. I just wish that pic was higher-res.
5) I'm convinced that the green spiral in the hologram is not actually part of the structure...rather just some kind of scanning mode of the holo-table itself.
6) I really like the way the 'scanner ball' lights up the SJ suits...best shot of them so far.

Well, hold one. David is stood IN the doorway, so it's possible to make a reasonably accurate estimate of the height of the doorframe. Since Fassbender is between 1.80 - 1.83 m tall, depending on where you search, and lets add a couple of cm for the boots, then I make the doorway to be 2.7 to 2.8 metres (8.78 to 9.1 feet). Since the Jockey suits are on pedestals, we can safely assume they are a little shorter than 9 feet.
Notice also the translation of the french magazine on the other thread, where the designer refers to these beings as 3 m tall.
Evidently they are not 13-14 ft, but more like 8-9 feet.
Davids helmet at the foot of the statue/suit is bigger than the jockey's head. There's no way the jockeys will be as big as the one in the the chair in alien. We just have to accept it, which stinks. The tunnels themselves look only 13 feet tall at max, so there's no way we will be seeing 13 feet tall jockeys. :-\ I hope there is a reason because it doesn't seem like something Ridley would just choose to ignore.

As I just pointed out. It doesn't verify the height of the creatures themselves. Those are statues. Just like the Rocky Balboa statue is not to scale with Sly Stallone, or any other statue you could reference. They're seldom built to scale.

Pure speculation of course, but I don't believe they're merely statues. There are four cryochambers we see in the orrery, so I'm guessing what we're seeing are in fact suits.

Well, I don't think they would make nice decorative objects, that's for sure.
However one might have assumed that the Alien in the first movie wasn't supposed to be a nice decorative object but then it is if you like that sort of thing

The blue lights were some sort of stasis fields that prevented facehuggers inside eggs to feel the pressence of potential hosts in the nearbies. Kane just got too close to one egg.

Yeah...the constant complaining about the SJ size difference got old a long time ago.
It's pretty clear that it's not the same ship as the one in ALIEN, and therefore not the same 'Jockey'.
Further, we don't know anything about this species or their avg heights.
For all we know, the SJs in Prometheus might well be children in comparison to the one in ALIEN.
everyone here discusses the SJ size but with this new pic its obvious that the chair platform is also
small. i remember the crew of the nostromo has to climb to reach the top of it and doesn't have stairs
either.

It's probably like the stuff that went with the Voyager missions--something used to show an alien culture about our species should we contact them.

I don't think they are that big, just a perspective effect. I think they are maximum as big as the height of the entrance where the guy is standing at, and thats not big, IMO.

Based on that high-quality image, Fassbender occupies 68.86 % of the vertical extent of the doorway in which he is stood. Since he is 1.83 m tall, the doorway is 1.83/0.6886 = 2.66 m high.
This is 8' 7.6", and places an upper limit on the height of the alien beings, unless they walk along stooped over....
Also, is it just my imagination or do some of the other pyramid chambers have objects in them? I can see the central chamber has the giant head, but there's another to the right that looks like it has a big mouse inside it.
I note also that the storm appears to be ongoing outside the windows, yet there are markers for Fifield and Milburn still inside the pyramid....

Got it, I hadn't heard that part. I guess kinda works because I always had the sensation the Aliens had built the ship because it looked a lot like their Hives. ( I know they didn't ) So I guess this is a way of separating the species of the Jockeys from the Aliens. Will miss Giger's touch thou.

It's weird that in this pic that room and the ampoules are very clean, but in the trailer they are oozing that black goo, also goo rivers on the floor in the right of the head. What is the deal?
