You mean four-armed one ? It was the closest to Big Chap thing I've ever seen

Yeah, that one was cool. The design was more biomechanical and had jaws similar to those of the Deacon / Neomorph.

But overall I never expected, nor did I ever want to have a zombie-looking mutant in an Alien movie.

Prefer the CG version. Besides wouldnt it have been more complete and polished if it was in the final film?

Wasn't that the final version?

My issue was more the performance.

This was creepy AF.  It would have been preferred.

I guess it depends when the decision to cut it was. Don't they work on and improve CG up until release? I always assumed the CG was a work in progress for some reason.

Speaking just in terms of the design, and not the execution/type of effect, I prefer the scrapped version.

Assuming you're talking the Fifield monster, that's a better way of putting it. I definitely prefer the design of the CGI version, but I don't believe they ever actually finished work on the CG effect.

This is what I was talking about, I feel the same.

CG Fifield is teaser quality.

Kane's other son

The CG Fifield looked great but moved like a chimp. The sub-par animation killed that version of the character

Local Trouble

Just another reason to hate Fifield.

Drukathi

HEY! He is the space dwarf-viking! Don't hate him! :D

Unlike people, stones have a serious reason...

Moral of the story: Don't smoke "tobacco", or you're going to end up as Fifield.

Perfect-Organism

There's no way that was tobacco.

Immortan Jonesy

Then maybe the only real part of the movie is everything before the "tobacco" scene. The other part is half real, half trip.

Moral of the story: Don't mixt THC with Black goo.
