Quote from: PopulusInvictus on Jun 17, 2025, 08:34:16 PMI find the cheerling squad here for Dan cringy. Stop. All the easters eggs were just a few seconds of a few hard burned artists painting a static shot composited for a a slight depth. The who movie pretty much had no Predator story.....admit the cringe.
I mean I don't like the cold storage either but what the hell are you even saying?

If I had too much money in my bank account I'd 100% be commissioning a talented artist as I write this to do a piece of Tony Pope wielding Adolini's flintlock while standing over a dozen dead Predators.  8)

I can't wait to see what it is.... Really liking what's being done with the franchise at the moment. I loved Killer of killers and I'm really excited for Badlands.

Interesting! Do we think this 3rd thing is the rumored Alien vs Predator with co-director Fede Alvarez??

This is fascinating. WHAT is this 3rd film????!??!? Is it animated? Live-action?? f**k, I can't wait

20th Century & Disney better start paying the man!!
Finally this franchise has someone in charge of it that actually knows the lore and is smart enough to expand on it without falling into Ridley"i made a great film once" Scott's terrible style of "make it up as i go" storytelling.
Ijust watched "Killer of Killers" last night and even my GF who is not a fan of this genre thought it was brilliant. Each story told its tale and never veered from its main focus- every serious situation is interrupted by a Predator. Then to have each story connect in an end story was pure common sense. Something that Fox in the past have failed to do in each of their franchises except for the first two Alien films, Predator then Prey.
My only beef with " KoK" is the fact that its not in theaters. Like Prey, i find it ridiculous that neither film has had its day in theaters.
Just a thought: if Predator/Badlands really wants to make money they should release Prey & KOK with the film for marathon purposes..

It's fascinating that Dan wants to make so many Predator movies so fast. Worried he might burn out.

Here's the complete SFX magazine article:

About the Predator design, he says he's screened the movie a number of times and the design and look of the Predator never came up as feedback.

He's seen some of Alien: Earth and says it's awesome.

Mentions about the possibility of making a prequel comic series.

Preydator

A Badlands prequel/tie-in comic would be pretty cool, hopefully it would be better than what Romulus got lol.

Thank you for sharing this, Darkness!

Quote from: BISHOP 93 on Jun 17, 2025, 04:20:27 PMSo prey 2, killer of killers 2 orrrrr AVP 🤔

It's gotta be AVP. All the rumors and evidence we have are pointing to that.

Drukathi

Let Fede make Romulus 2 as a propper Alien movie and put Dan to AvP.

RoguePred1987

That 3rd project, technically 4th after KoK, feels like it'll be its own thing. Dan T doesn't seem to want to repeat himself. If I had to guess, maybe AVP is a little farther down the road then we might be thinking. The Romulus sequel, even with that rumored bit, will likely still be a solo Alien movie. So, Prey 2 and Killer of Killers 2 may end up being the same movie. He's been very openly positive about the possibility of characters meeting and coming together.

Make sense as the casual movie goers only recognize the most basic form and not the details. Gonna shake someone's jimmies reading this tho.
