The marketing for Alien: Earth certainly seems to be kicking into a higher gear as of late. We finally got the first trailer for the series, along with two additional teaser trailers! And now we have yet another new poster, brining the total to eight so far!

Posted to the official Alien: Earth social media, this new design shows the earth emerging from a Xenomorph egg in the midst of a grouping of them. Check it out below!

QuoteAll in due time. FX's Alien: Earth. 8.12 on FX | Hulu

Another new poster for Alien: Earth was released last week shortly after the trailer dropped, this one showing a facehugger clasping the earth:

These key arts have been available as mobile device and smart watch wallpapers over on the official Alien: Earth website if you want to sport the hype for the upcoming series.

The poster game is not strong. If I were the art director, I would forbid the use of planet Earth imagery.

Why would you forbid the use of earth in the posters when it's one of the selling points of the show?

I agree. its a sassy take much like many AVP film posters too. Dated, and tongue in cheek to get casuals interested. Forgive me lord, ok use it.

Poster's seem just fine to me.   ???

I don't think they're great, but I think they're selling exactly what is going to get butts in seats to watch - the idea that we're finally going to see the Alien on Earth. I think people sometimes underestimate just how much the general audience has always wanted to see that.

That's right. Also the official trailer already reached 21M of views in 4 days, that's the same as the teaser trailer of Romulus (the one with more views). I think that there's some excitement or at least curiosity in this new series and I'm happy about it, I just hope that delivers what it promises

The ones who haven't seen Requiem at least.

The actress playing Yutani in Earth being excited to play a role that's never been brought to life on screen before says it all, really.

New evidence suggests universe hatched from egg.

Gives me Earth War vibes... I f**k with it! The editing could be a bit better tho, hoping for some cool variant/artist posters closer to release.

Looking forward to Alien: Earth, but it has one downside, maybe in the next 10 years with a fourth unrelated Alien prequel with a new origin of the xenomorphs happens and its not connected to Alien Earth. Fox has made 3 unrelated prequel timelines already, first Alien vs. Predator/Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, second Prometheus/Alien: Covenant and third Alien: Earth. The franchise has changed without Ripley as a main character and now its just countless unrelated prequels and side story movies like Alien: Romulus.
