Strictly a rumor at this moment, and very little to go on, but the 1/6th scale world has vastly grown since the initial Predator releases, and even far more than when the HT Classic Predator did. When that said, Predator 2.0's announcement and subsequent images has left alot of people (especially those who have been longtime collectors) unimpressed with this latest effort, and we started looking at the possibility of other companies releasing competing figures. I reached out to INART (and several others), and INART specifically replied with this;

This could mean nothing, but you never know. These other 1/6th scale studios routinely produce competing figures, licensing or not (in the states), and wouldn't hesitate to release a figure to capitalize on a mixed perception on an upcoming HT release.
