Heres a book that many younger Alien fans don´t know exist. Its not featured in the litterature section on his page.
In the 70´s and 80´s big movies often had a "Movie novel" or "Movie book" with lots of photos from the actual movie and Richard J Anobiles Alien movie novel is just that. This book has over 1000 images from the actual movie. Some of the characters lines are feature but not all. In some places the writer writes "Hissss" or other stuff to indicate how the alien sounds.
The scene when Kane find the eggs looks like its longer than it is and you can see the facehuggers proboscis which is very cool. The colours in the pics are sligtly different from the movie but its fine. The Chestburster looks more red than in the movie, for example. The Alien itself is seen better in some pics.
The book was aviable both with hardcover and softcover. The softcover one was cheaper but the quality was not as good as the hardcover so the pages could easily get loose. In 1988 i foudn an used copy of this book and bought it and it was the hardcover version. I had the book until 2017 when it got lost when i moved to new apartment.
However i have found a high quality scan of the book on some page so i downloaded that one. The only disadvatage of the scan is that its in JPEG pages and the filesize for the book is about 900 mb or so but hey, its great quality. I add the link for you if you want it.
