Simply that they exist but are in some other corner of the universe somewhere. I don't see a movie happening and the most would be some kind of animated 10min short. The most realistic outcome I can see would be a one shot comic crossover. We already got Marvel vs Predator stories going on, don't see the harm of a simple one issue crossover.

You said yourself - it'd need to be self contained. The (imo erroneous) assumption it being on film makes that species canon to Predator now is what's got some worried.

My question is, worried about what? After the result of the sequel, I have huge doubt that they will make a comeback OR the Harvesters will actually do anything remotely drastic to future Alien/Predator films. The most realistic outcome of doing anything remotely possible with that, is that it will be a self contained one shot canon crossover comic of a Predator story of a Harvester hunt, somewhere in some other galaxy centuries ago. Its so easy to write this before any of the films happen.

It's like saying that due to the T.Rex skull, we are going to see a dinosaur hunt Predator film. Its highly unlikely for that to happen just because its on the wall.

I do want this film though, that's for sure.

I feel like anyone worried about it, and you at the moment, are making mountains out of molehills.

I definitely think there's a planet out there that's either; developed life similar to Earth 65 million years ago or is sanctuary for Dinosaurs taken from Earth by another species.

I hate to be that guy but its 66 Million years ago, 65 million years ago there wouldn't be any dinosaurs left except for birds.

I know two media, Planet of the Dinosaurs, and the hunting game Carnivores plays exactly into that trope. Hell, even the sequel game Carnivores 2 have easter eggs of the Alien and Predator so it would be fun to just have an alien planet with aliens that evolved to be like dinosaurs.

I would go pay to see a movie that would have alien-dinosaurs

The day ID and Predator will share a universe will be the day Predator will die for me, even when the first movie is still my favourite movie of all times

Nightmare Asylum

There's no shared universe here. It's just an Easter Egg in a trophy room.

Corporal Hicks

That said, I'd not mind some sort of comic crossover on that.

Yeah, comics are a land of infinite possibility, in that regard. Throw everything and anything at the wall! I still think Marvel is totally off their rocker not doing a crossover where Captain America is thawed out in the distant future on the Planet of the Apes...

And I love both Planet of the Dinosaurs and the Carnivores franchise.
