I've genuinely never encountered a meat pie with cheese in it aside from the afrementioned bacon & cheese. Wait til you try a Sausage Roll ... especially the artisan ones with Moroccan Lamb or Pork & Fennel. Amazing.

I'll be a heathen and say the best sausage roll is whatever you get frozen from the shops and nuke in the microwave at home.
