David's lab is the best part of the movie. Wish it had longer execution. What a waste opportunity.

Thanks, Rabbit! Holy shit! There's just an absolute shit-tonne of stuff in there! I had assumed a lot of it was hold-over from when it wasn't an Alien film but there's still loads tagged Paradise with Alien in there!

Do you mean these?

The idea of the Alien jizzing the cocoon stuff on people is a bit much, I reckon xD

And wtf was this?!

We need those pre-Covenant scripts!

Links are dead. Any chance you could repost those images?
Always the egg morphing idea.

Looks like it's something to do with YouTube and the Blu-ray release.

I think Colin mentioned this in my recent interview with him.

Thanks for the continuing artistic journey, Hicks.

David's lab alongside with his way of writing is having a Renaissance vibe that is in tune with the David statue of the opening scene and the hole Greek-Roman esthetic of the town and the physique of the engineers.

Interesting ideas for a space opera but it doesn't really work for an Alien movie.

It doesn't convey any menacing emotional response and has nothing to do with Giger's designs.

You want to see the same thing over and over?

Of course not, but this esthetic doesn't really works. It is a nice idea but classical art evokes other feelings than mystery, horror and uneasiness. There is also no relationship  between the 1979 darelict and this hole Greek-Roman thing.

The movie is a mess not only script wise but also visually.

At least in Alien 3, and Alien 4 there was a visual cohesiveness.

Done good? Yes please.

Going to happen any time soon? Nope.
