Anything related to the franchise usually needs to go through all the parties involved before getting published. That means being approved by the studio, publisher and ultimately the license owner.
That seems like a pretty long approval process. I think if this fact was made clearer to some of the forum members there would be less complaining about the lack of info coming out for A:CM. Thanks for the info, ikarop.

Gearbox has just revealed during their panel at PAX Prime that the game Aliens: Infestation, which they created in collaboration with Wayforward Technologies, will be coming out for the Nintendo DS on October 11, 2011 in the US and on September 30, 2011 in Europe.
