Title: Avp 2010 music appreciation thread.
Post by: Tichinde on Sep 13, 2020, 07:38:16 AM
I replayed rebellions AVP 2010 the other day, and the Alien music, the predator music is just so creepy or tribal and badass, I have to give them major props. I love the "Matriarch" theme it actually gives me chills.

I do enjoy AvP10 a lot but the wasted potential is depressing. If Rebellion had more time and money it could gave been a really great game.

The soundtrack fits nicely though..

This is probably just a me specific thing, but AVP 2010 is the only game I've ever played that just makes me feel nauseous. Like it might just be the artstyle or the speed of the characters we play as, but i feel genuinely ill when I play it for long periods.

Is that just a me thing or does anyone else feel the same?

I played through Rebellions first AvP where the Alien was a cheetah buzzsaw, so the speed (or lack thereof) never bothered me.

I think motion blur and head cant/bob f**ks some people up on FPS.  I remember watching Marz play RE7 and the FPS movement of the character would make her sick, even though it never bothered me.

Man the Alien in Classic used to make me feel ill. I got used to it though. I could sometimes get disorientated with the Alien in 2010, but never feel ill.

On topic though, I do think the music in 2010 was fantastic too. I couldn't say any of the games have really had a disappointing score to be honest. 2010 was no different as far as I was concerned.
