Ripley versus Predator

Inspired by another topic, I wondering what do you think about Ripley (not the clone) meeting a Predator. Who will win in that duel? A woman that know how to "talk" with creatures other than human or deadly hunter that have no mercy, and never surrender (fight to the dead)?

Depends where they fight. I suppose Pred has a better chance of killing her but if they're in some part of the Nostromo or any other kind of ship, she could suck him into the vaccums of space.

I'm not sure, if Nostromo crew can't do this to alien, so i think they can't do to predator.
Knowing predator, it could happen vice versa.

Chances are the predator...but Ripley does have a way of surviving

as for the Resurrection Ripley, that would be interesting...I think she has the strength of someone like Dutch from Predator 1, which is a big upgrade from the original Ripley...but she's still obviously weaker than aliens and predators (Celtic was able to wrestle and throw Grid)

maybe. but thinking about the preds way of choosing rivals or thinking about the ultimate opponent i think the preds would love to fight against her.

If it would come to a fight she would loose for shure. She has no skills of an alien (i aint talking about the cloned ripley) concerning agility or speed or even natural weapons. I mean there are too many disadvantages.

And i'm only talking about a real dog-fight, more precisely, a fight without any stand-off weapons.

She didn't need any of those things to fight against the aliens. 

Intelligence > strength, speed, weapons, etc...

Why is it possible for an alien to kill a predator in a close-in fight?

An alien uses strategy plus its natural strength, speed and agility. 

Ripley has her wits, instinct, intelligence, resourcefulness, etc to count on.

Of course u r right! But do ya agree with me that these skills only are usefull if u have the time to plan the infight?

Okay! We've seen Pred1 - all steps were preplaned by dutch , but thats a kind of ambushing your opponent - the only way to win anyway.

But what if no one could prepare himself for that battle? How would win?
