Not the characters I expected for this show, but it's pretty cool that Marvel are mixing things up a bit.

Are they actually going to treat these events that take place in these shows as canon for the movies? Not everyone is going to subscribe to Disney+

. Characters introduced in the shows might/will show up in the movies as well.

They tried to do this with Agents of Shield. But eventually it proved too difficult and the AoS writing team more or less went their own way. Even so, now that AoS is coming to a close I wonder if any of it's characters will make it across to any of this new crop of streaming shows. Daisy Johnson/Quake would be a natural.

That's because there wasn't really any synergy between Marvel Studios and Marvel Television. These shows are coming straight from Marvel Studios, however.
