Question concerning the technology used.

How come in Prometheus the crews suits and technology are more advanced then they were in Alien? Is there an explanation for this given in the movie? If their isn't share your thoughts and theories below

Yeah, this doesn't bother me. I've worked in various labs, some of which look like they haven't changed since the 1950s and others which look futuristic even to me. So, I have no issue with some vessels having the newest spunkiest kit, and others having tat even decades later.

This is the least of the film's problems.

Yes I think it still fits. Perhaps in the future there will be a variety of different space technology, as we see today there are still cars around from 50 years ago.
