Looks way better than spiderman: homecoming.
Homecoming was pretty damn fun. I'm looking forward to this one. Spiderverse was such a fun arc! Hoping I get to see the Captain Britain Spiderman in these.
I wonder if this'll follow the same story as the actual Spider-Verse did. I'm kind of really hoping Superior shows up, even if it's just a minor note in this (or it's sequels if it gets any)
I really like the style it's going for. Love the old school looking dots. Really keen to see more of this one!
I do really like the art style they went for.
It reminds me a bit if the some of the more experimental stuff Takahata would do with animation in his Ghibli films.
I saw a theory earlier that this was going to be how Sony would tie in all it's Spider-man films.

It could really work in the context of Spider-Verse. This is from the actual comic

Oh yeah, it would totally work. Spider-verse was such a fun series. I'd love to see Spider-UK in this.
I'd like to see UK make it into one of these. I'd say he's in my top 5 alternate Spider-Men I want to see come out of this
Genuinely not sure how I feel about that
So do all of the different Spider-Men take time out to whine about how being a hero sucks? ;D

There are a few in in the Spider-Verse comics that don't
Yeah, Earth-51412 Spidey seemed quite happy with his situation IIRC.
Superior didn't complain to much either, the things he did complain about were usually things Peter had done/not done
One of my favorite complaining Peter bits, from a Punisher comic:

I've only just realized older Peter is playing by Jake Johnson. I thought it was Jake Gyllenhaal for some reason! I love Johnson so I'm actually quite excited about that. I think he'll do a great weary old Spidey.

Yeah, Johnson is perfect for the type of Peter Parker they're portraying in this movie. Super excited about the voice cast for this.

Please be Green Goblin.
It says he'll be Spider Noir. They really are going full-out on the Spider-verse angle and I love it!!

Anyone else find it funny that he has the Spider suits set up like Batman would have his suits?
Peter Parker isn't that organized, and has a tendency to have suits get destroyed when he's "done" with them

This just looks like so much fun!
I'm really looking forward to taking my little brother to see this

I loved this film so much! I do not think I've had this much fun in the cinema all year! I am dying to go see it again!

He was pretty fun in the comic incarnation of Spider-verse.
Some clips from the Japanese Spidey show are wild. I'm down. :D
Very, very glad that Lord and Miller are back for this. If they weren't returning, I probably wouldn't have cared about it to be honest.
I loved the first one, up for this.
Liked the story, just couldnt buy into the art style. Looked like 3D went wrong.
Kingpin's design was kind of crap, that's my only real criticism.

King fridge
King Pin was a little weird looking, but I can't say I didn't like it.
Dude Kingpin's design was great! Built like a brick shithouse like he should, especially in such an already stylized movie.
His head was growing out of his chest.
Good, yours would too!
The artstyle is also top tier.

Good stuff! Loved just about everything about the first one.
Best news in ages! Still consider the first one of my favourite cinema experiences.

;D I am so excited for this! Fantastic to finally see some footage. It looks like it might have the same heart the original did and I'm so pleased by that.

Ooohh. Exciting. Hope they make that accessible!

Ha. I enjoyed that one. Looks like as much fun as the first. Just hope it's got the heart too.

Now this is interesting! I thought they'd keep Miles animated only.
Here are my thoughts on Across The Spider-Verse.
Easily one of the best films of the year and a terrific sequel. I didn't think they could pull it off but this movie is a triumph.
I wasn't prepared for this to be a two parter, so that ending caught me off guard in a bad way.

Thanks for this. Zero indication it's a two parter, so now I'll wait for the next one to come out before watching this.
They advertised it as part one of two when it was announced.
They were originally releasing Across the Spider-Verse Part 1 & 2 before the second part became Beyond.
Yeah, what a slap on the face that ending...
I wouldn't call it a slap in the face - we knew they were doing a 3rd film - but it was certainly unexpected. But regardless of that - I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Perhaps not as charming as the first film, but only in that this just felt much more adult (as Mile's was growing, of course) and it hit hard. I adored the different visual styles in this one - it continues to be a visual treat for this corner of the franchise.

Well that was frigging terrifying. Good little short. I definitely felt that.
