Title: What other live action crossover would be good for the Predator franchise?
Post by: Immortan Jonesy on Feb 22, 2022, 12:31:47 AM
Aside from AVP, what other live action crossover would be good for the Predator franchise?

Batman.

Not even joking. The comic was great. I'd be there opening day.

If they kept the same tone as the original Batman vs Predator comic then I would be down for sure.

Terminator. Predators land on Earth after Skynet had taken over.

I'd watch that. Imagine Predator's confusion to see Arnold again only to find out it's a robot covered in meat

The Terminator could actually be modeled on Dutch. Skynet searched for the perfect candidate for the Terminators, found secret motor files that Durch killed the universe's ultimate hunter and used him as the base for the T101.

The Dune books have hinted that "ugly aliens with invisible soaceships" may exist.

Could you imagine him cleaning that skull, he gets to the metal and stops cause he has no idea why he's got a robot covered in meat on his table. I love the idea of the sheer confusion. Wasn't there a show or something where the Terminator got decapitated and it went looking for its own head? Could be a funny moment where the Predator thinks he's won and turns around to find a headless body charging him and we hear what a Predator swear sounds like.

Yeah Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles, the best thing to come out of that franchise post Judgment Day.

The Hulk (with comic book scale of power) is exiled from Earth and sent into space. He lands on the planet of the Predators who first try to kill him, of course, but he soon becomes their King, venerated as a God when he's seen feasting on a xenomorph's leg as if it was chicken, he ingravidates one of their females (or even a male) and ... I don't know, he hulks around.

Dog Soldier werewolves. A single Predator hunting a pack at night. Heat vision picking up the multiple targets. Lightning fast movement closing in. Wrist blades that do not kill. And the pack concealed in human form in daylight.

Imagine the single Predator hearing the howls of the approaching pack. Reminiscent of Jungle Hunter hearing Dutch' s yell. 8)

Hulk inexplicably gets an Alien Queen pregnant!

a straight adaptation of the original Batman v Predator would be amazing. It's probably the best Predator story after the original movie.

Wolverine would be cool, but it would need to be a team of Predators that get shocked by his healing ability. Maybe they accidentally jump to a different universe from one without mutants.

Really, anything like the Hulk or Superman is not going to be entertaining without some sort of depowering. The Superman/Predator stuff was terrible. The original Superman v Aliens was great though. It's just that those creatures are so terribly weak in those universes.

Robocop could be a good one maybe. He's definitely capable of smashing a Predator physically.

Walking Dead is another one I would like to see, or Boba Fett.
