Favourite Stephen King adaptations?

The Shining (1980) - classic movie
The Langoliers - tv min-series was made in '95 it is based on time travel, very good
It - another mini-series with Tim Curry as Pennywise
The Mist - cool movie, awesome ending
The Stand - yet another mini-series
Misery - great movie

I'm anxious about the adaptation of The Dark Tower series, which is my favorite book series.

I like the changes.  Kubrick explained the changes in interviews - like killing off Halloran gave more tension.

I bet he would seem very down to earth like he does in interviews.
