That could mean they're waiting for him to start shooting. That would mean he's the only reason the movie is not being filmed today. I could have my teaser by the end of the summer.
They'd still need the prep time anyway :laugh: but it fits with his recent comment about September/October time based on actor availability...

Ben Affleck is not that convincing as an action hero. He works as Batman because of the mask, but as a regular himself, meh.
Billy Dee Williams played Harvey Dent in the original 1989 film. I'd love to see him join the Predator franchise.
It would also be cool to see Danny Devito take on a Predator since he was the Penguin in Batman Returns (1992).

Yeah he's not intense enough to be a hardass, or charismatic enough to be a badass.

I'm not sure. There were rumours he had throat cancer and judging by some tabloid snaps from about a year ago he was looking very thin and sickly.
He's looking much healthier now thankfully so maybe he's back acting.

There is other stuff to be planned though, Pre-Production, concepts, getting the suits right, getting locations, set construction, hotels booked for a couple of hundred people... starting a production is not that simple, actors schedules is just one of so many things that have to be prepared.
What if every cool actor Shane had in mind rejects the movie and he's left with nothing but unknown low class actors?

A Predator movie is hardly the kind of thing Affleck typically does, I wouldn't worry too much.
I wouldn't worry about Affleck too much, Bradley Cooper would have been cool though.
We'll see, it's Shane Black after all, he'll get the right actors.

Honestly, Russell Crowe would actually be a great choice for a Predator movie in my opinion.
