Bloody Disgusting has just posted five clips from Requiem. Three are brand spanking new while two are clearer versions of stuff we’ve seen recently:

There’s a characterish clip with Dallas and Ricky – so so acting from Ricky – in which he shows off his use of the Predator Pistol, there’s the National Guard attack or what I’m thinking is part of it and the Hive fight which was shown at all the recent events plus the swimming pool and sewer stuff. Lots and lots of Alien pawnage. You can see them all here. Thanks to Joe Dunaway for the news.

U.S fans are so lucky 25th is just around the corner, I have to wait till the 18th Jan. Allthough the way the things are going with Fox releasing so much stuff ie store showdown clip, first 5mins, tv spots and clips etc the movie will be online soo enough    :D   haha!

Earlier when the sewer clip was shown a while back, i said i didn't like the plasma caster sound, now  that this one has audio, i can defenitely hear the whip crack with a mix of something else, which i totally dig.

it is dark, but it youtube quality and im siting next to a window.

this movie will be better than avp just because it has more action and gore. blood and guts dont make a movie good unles it doesnt have a good story like thous 70 and 80s films, which i love because of the gore.

ok, i like videos for the most part., i agree a little dark. but what is with the close glimpses of the aliens right against the screen every time there sneeking up on theyre prey, i mean it gives away their surprise element when everytime their close to someone it shows them curl up or a flash of their tubing or head right in the screen, takes away form the suspense when you now know exactly whats goinna happen if u ask me, she should remain hidden for the most part from the screen until issuing an attack, theyre showing too much foreshadowing in the scenes,    :-\  

I still would like to see the Predator actually skinning a person. This has never been shown before. OR How about skinning an Alien? Yeah, that would just rock!! AND then hang it upside down too. Splat!!!

this is totaly off subject, but i was thinking, there was mention of another 2 hybrids...cud it be possible they cud be "praetorians" which protect chet and the hive? and in earlier pics wen we saw the hot diner chick wif her guts out...cud this be the frm giving birth 2 one of them?

ok... this is another one of those "wow, that predator seems to be kicking an awful lot of alien ass with relative ease" sort of comments.... but there are just somethings that don't make sense.  Like every time a predator gets with in close quarters of an alien... suddenly it's claws and tail don't work. I imagine them having a conversation something like this....  Predator: Ha ha! I've Grabbed you by the neck!  Alien: Oh no. All I can do is try to bite you! Darn you're too far            away for me to bite.  Oh dear, now I'm dead.  Predator:  Ha ha! I'm such a badass! Good thing that alien suddenly couldn't scratch me with it's claws or whip or stab me with it's tail, cause that would have sucked.

didnt sumeone say the pred hits a certain pressure point wen he grabs their neck? this might cause them 2 have loss of movement in certain limbs i.e. claws and tail? it wud explain things better.

actually... i think I said it... but it's still a pretty weak excuse.  And I know all the pred-fanboys are circle jerkin' over this stuff... but I don't care how experienced the predator is... in a close quarter hand to hand combat it doesn't make sense that the aliens suddenly haven't a clue how to fight.

i dont think its that they dont av' a clue, they jst might be less experienced in combat, like the young preds in AVP. this preds been fighting for years and the aliens are just new born

ok... so I'm going to try to settle this baddy predator/wimpy alien thing once and for all.  Maybe.  Bear with me.  If we consider the "aliens as weapons" theory it makes sense.  The aliens are perfectly adapted for killing people.  They were bred from humans and thus are pretty good at killing them.  But the drones have not been bred from predators and so have a little more trouble.  Considering the trouble the predalien gives Wolf, if it was a hive full of predalien drones, he would last about as long as it took for his gun to charge. Because those aliens would be specifically "designed" to kill predators.

makes perfect sense. bioweapons to killhumans and bioweapons to kill pred's. so lets see if anyone gets angry off of this.

I also think that YUATAJA has a point. Wolf has a distinct advantage because this hive hasn't dealt with a lot of formidable enemies.  It's kind of like the Borg.  The hive takes time to adapt and to adjust. If this were a second or third generation hive... or a hive that had been through a lot of attacks... then Wolf might have a few problems.  Which is why it was necessary for him/her/it to get to Earth and take care of the problem as quickly as possible.

skinned alive, that would be too much and it would defeat the purpose.  people are supposed to "stumble upon" skinned bodies.  this formula has been staple since billy first did.

why is it so bad that the pred kan kill aliens so esaly. in kung foo movies bruce lee and let lee easily kill tons of people with one punch when they them self get hit a hundred time and hardly bleed and people don't complain about that. the rule is the hero has to be several times stronger then the enemy and wolf is sortoff the hero of this film.

well this is different.  when you see a Bruce Lee film people are really just rooting for him.  In a film like AVP-R you have people on both sides cheering for their favorite.  Plus, if it's too easy to kill the aliens then that doesn't make them very scary and cool, which is why the fans like the, because they're supposed to be scary and cool.  If they get tossed around too much, like the first two Preds in AVP, then the people who wanted to see their favorite characters doing all the cool stuff they're supposed to, well those people feel let down. Comes down to this.  If the aliens are wimpy, then they aren't cool.  And as an aliens fan, it makes me sad when the aliens aren't cool.  So that's where all this is coming from.

You know, I just had a really interesting idea.  In AvP, the Grid alien that took on the first two predators seemed to be a bad ass, even more so then the other aliens in the nest.  What if that alien came out of the spikey-haired chick who brought the gun.  That's kind of cool if you think about it.  Because she was apparently really tough and knew how to kick a lot of ass, and so did the alien that came out of her.  What if aliens not only acquire physical traits from their hosts, but also memories and experience.  I mean is seems possible.  Ripley had memories.  And she could only have gotten those memories from the queen, which means the queen had to retain those memories.  I know this is a concept that is dealt with a little in the rules for the Fuzion RPG that's online.  But it's a really kind of cool idea.

you know Yautja I was thinking the same as u , it is kinda weird that the aliens don't use their tail or claws to defend themselves... Wolf holds them by the neck at a certain "pressure point" I think thats why in the clips they showed where Wolf was holding them by the neck ( through predator vision mode ) and my dad is a fysiotherapist and he sais it is possible to temporarily immoblilize certain parts of the body when being hold by the neck on a certain pressure point    ;D

nchurch, i dont think it matters what kind of personality the human has.  i think it is random when they come from humans.  either warrior-style heads, or smooth head but 8 ft tall.

Anyone want to write a synopsis of the whole movie? I bet we could fairly accurately piece all of the scenes / leaked information at this point. Considering the movie is not that long, I'd have to believe that we've seen almost all of the major battles at this point.   Besides we all know the ending already. Dallas, Ricky, Rieko, and her daughter  escape in 'da choppaaaaa', while wolf and chet impale each other during the battle of the rooftop of the hospital. While 'da choppaaaaa' flies to safetly, the armies nuke hits the town. The choppaaa ends up landing (or crashing?) and the army comes to sieze the shoulder cannon off of Dallas. The final scene consists of the army giving Ms Yutani the shoulder cannon to suggest why the company (Weyland-Yutani) is in search of the xenomorph in the future.  I guess after this event, Weyland and Yutani decide to merge together due to thier knowledge of other worldly beings... Although no one in AVP 1 from Weyland even lived to report thier knowledge. It would have made more sense if Weyland lived.

praetorians are like a royal guard i think, not too sure, but i think they were used in one of the avp games?

alright two things: first, i hope the military scene was edited to not show the deaths and to make the clip shortened for online purposes,cuz if this is not the case then where the hell were all the deaths that the camera was supposidly not supposed to cut away from in this movie, i mean there was at least 3 of um if im correct on just that clip alone.hmmm? second....im sorry but im really disapointed in the fact that the two franchises has come to what it is. there are actually people using the words "cheering for' and 'ruting' for, i mean...are you serious, this is exactly what will doom the future of these two frachises to cheesy mediocracy when people are just worried about if predators get more kills or aliens do instead of seeing a good , entertaining, scary movie. c'mon you all, when you all saw the first few movies were you cheering for the creatures, no! cuz they were villians, bad guys. yeah while cool as hell as they are, their still the bad guy, this isnt freakin halo online or clebrity deathmatch you morons. your gonna twist around and ruin the little threatening aspect that these two creatures still hold altogether by making um freakin heros as apposed to menacing creatures...damn shame!

Oh. My. God. The amount "alien pwnage" by one predator is getting absolutely rediculous and it's starting to piss me off. The Brothers Strause have apparently gone to great lengths to piss on not only the Aliens themselves, but the fans who love them. The sewer & hive fights are a couple good examples.  Okay, so they have Wolf grab not one, but TWO warriors by the throat... and they don't have them lash out at him with their long ass arms or try to impale him with their 7-8 foot long tails? Then, to make things even better, they have "Chet" pop up in front of them and do they have him do the logical thing and impale Wolf and eliminate the threat right then and there? No, of course not. They decide to have him swat Wolf up against the wall. Mindless and weak. That's the way they see the Aliens.  The Strause Bros. need a reality check.   ::)   This movie is turning out to be nothing more than a rabid Predator fanboy's wet dream. Personally, as a huge Predator fan myself, I'm extremely insulted that they've trivialized the galaxy's most dangerous organisms into mindless, weak insects. What the hell happened to "they are the ultimate prey"?  It also seems the Strause Bros. have made AVP:R a "cut-and-paste" film. They've taken so many elements from the previous installments and implemented them into AVP-R exactly as they were that it feels a bit silly. There's absolutely no subtlety about it either.

  ;D  I was very impressed with these trailers compared with the last ones we have seen. I know it won't happen but I hopr the National guard are in the movie more then that because most movies the soldiers always get slautered unless it is Aliens where they they kick ass and one lives. But I will just have to deal with it it will just be like Jurrassic Park the lost world where all the Hunters just ran and scream and die and not just shoot the freakin Raptrs. Actualy that was the problem that I had with AVP none of the Mercenarys could kill the Aliens. Thats all my opinion but over all lookoing much better I will see this on X mass even though I think it is stupid to see ot on xmass but I am a fan.

@ warchant-D Dude, u just need to settle down. I don't want you to be angry w/ me nor do I to you. If I were you I would not watch the scenes anymore to spoil the movie. I don't watch them so I can go into the movie theatre and be suprised by however it turns out. I really do not care how it turns out otherwise. These movies (AVP and AVPR) are originated from a comic. A comic has bunch of action it it. Do you think they can create a really scary movie when we've already seen these monsters millions of times? I do not think so. unless you try to bring in some of the famous vibes in the originals. These two movies are there own thing. you cannot do anything about it. nor can we all.

Listen up people...  If you are a true fan, and Alien & Predator are your favorite movies then you should have nothing to complain about. We are getting a freakin' movie! Let's be happy that we are getting one at all and be more positive about it!  I mean c'mon people settle down. Would you rather have no movie at all? Because that's how some of you are sounding and it's starting to really bother me to see that there are actually people on a fansite that are complaining this much.

Yes, Garo Predator, but this is a WAR! One side will lose and that's it. So what if Wolf would still be alive at the end, it would not bother me because that is how the outcome of the war is. I am a huge Alien fan and it would not upset me. I mean I am not a sore loser when it comes to losing a game or something, same thing here. I will still be a fan of the game and will keep coming back for more until I win, afterall that is the reality, correct?

well, the 18" HotToys figures come out 2nd quarter 2008. So, we have to wait awhile. Not sure about Suncoast carrying the large ones though.

ya its the unrated one, i dont know why they didn't release this one im pretty sure it would have still gotten a pg-13 rating.\ the mcfarland dog alien the kenner scorpion alien and the kenner alien resurrection (more accurate than mcfarland one) and the gi joe still alien from alien resurrection. and the blue predator figure im tring to find  in my basement someware so i can paint it better. thous old kenner figs weren't all that bad just need better paint.

Lets all just go see the movie! That way they will make more of em for us to enjoy! Who cares if Wolf is a badass pred and kills 100s of aliens? Thats what a hunter does! How many deers or other animals do human hunters kill? Well the Predator is the "ultimate hunter" The predators breed aliens to hunt! Sure with all the hi tech weapons and gear he has hes gonna kill alot of em, thats the Fun of it! Remember its "ALIENS" vs Predator. many against  one   ;)

Aliens & Predators vs. Guyver III. lol Still no contest.   ;)   Makishima whoops 'em all.   :D    Seriously though, I'm super stoked were getting another AVP film, but just because Fox's doing an AVP movie doesn't mean we're suppose to jump for joy at the mere mention of it. Because it IS a movie, it's all the more important that they, and any director(s) they get, do it right and pay respectful homage to both creatures let alone the film's they come from. Staying faithful and accurate is the key while not pissing off the fans by doing anything that's just plain stupid. So far, Paul, Colin and Greg have already managed to pull that off.  I NEVER wanted to see an AVP film based on the comics. I always wanted to see an AVP film based on the Alien & Predator films I so loved (and where the comics are derived from). Most importantly, keeping both creatures faithful to those films. It only makes sense anyway. The comics were lop-sided.  The Strause Bros. have demonstrated quite a bit of ignorance in this department and I'm starting to wish Fox brought back Anderson but cut him loose on the sequel.  ...frick'n Fox, always meddling... grumble, grumble...

Bonafide1498, that's the whole problem. Aliens are not deer. True, Predators are the ultimate hunters (not god-like), but Aliens are the ultimate prey. You're suppose to get the feeling "who's hunting who?", but it's kinda hard when the aliens are nerfed in the strength and intelligence department while preds get an upgrade.   ::)

I definantly just creamed myself when I saw the first clip! Aliens (and hopefuly wolf) vs soldiers. That clip was very reminiscent of aliens and of the avp game!

Well, I've always wanted to see an Avp movie BASED on the comics, coz thats the only way I can imagine the crossover. Im very pleased after seeing the trailers, and that the Pred is much much stronger, as he should be IMO. I understand the Alien fans are pissed now, but oh well, so was I after first AVP.

well... nudzi... you obviously weren't "oh well" about AVP... so I don't know why you think aliens fans shouldn't be upset.  But we have to face facts.  Wolf obvsiously isn't any ordinary predator.  If this were run of the mill predators up agains the aliens, I think things would be a little more evenly matched.    But it is also a compelling argument that the aliens aren't exactly the "ultimate prey" in this movie.  Why would the predators make such a big deal out of hunting the aliens if you can kill them with relative ease?

dude, these fight scenes are so dark and close. It's worse than the AVP 1!

OMG!OMG!OMG!    :)   If your wondering why i'm acting so weird i saw the movie and it was the best movie i've seen so far since X3! And i'm even a 9 year old kid!  Literally!   :)     :)     :)   I thought he movie was great. Espicially the hive scene.   :)
