Not interested. The shipping weight tells me they are super small and the pictures tell me they are not terribly detailed or pose-able. Better options out there for sure.
They're statues.
They're also planning on a Hicks, A3 Xeno, and P1 Predator
Looks like they're going to be coming with magazines but it isn't a magazine collection like their usual stuff?

Just from the BBTS link, it didn't really specify. Even so, they are less than a pound? How small are these things exactly?
They typically do models about 20cm in height, I believe.
I like their Big chap, even if the sculpt is not as detailed or accurate as most figures on the market.
The attack posture with the open hands reminds me the Dallas encounter in the vent shaft, and the scenic elements (chestburster skin and Brett's cap) on the grid floor add a little something I like. I might be tempted when it comes out.
I'd probably get one or two of them like their Doctor Who collection. I'm more interested in the Xenomorph or Predator figures rather than the Colonial Marines.
Just heard back from Eaglemoss:
QuoteThe collection is not going to have a magazine but the whole collection will be at this new larger scale, keep an eye on the page for more updates!
Defo getting these.

Looks like we'll be seeing more soon.
Site is up.
With respect, how many people are legit interested in this line and will be purchasing at least one figure?
I was actually looking at subscribing. They have an offer for about $4 more a month for a premium subscription to receive a Sulaco and Nostromo on shipment 20 and 40, seems a little steep for not much of a bonus.

I'm gonna have a gander at the first one in stores, might pick that up but in all honesty, I'm not too interested. For that price I can get a NECA figure which looks better. Maybe if it came with an actual magazine like their Star Trek Starships collection.
I might lay my hands on the big chap if not too expensive, not as accurate as many figures around here but as I said earlier I definitely like the Dallas attack pose with joint fingers and Brett's cap on the floor, so I think I'll let myself tempted.
To be quite honest though, some of their figures in this line are absolutely ugly (especially the Predators), so to me this company brings us here an unequal stuff.
Worth buying if not as pricey as the recent ArtFX, I'll see to it.
CHECK OUT THIS DEAL FOR THESE FIGURES!

I wouldn't be so enthusiastic, I'm always cautious with this kind of site : after the 9.95$ xeno + free shipping you've got to pay twice this sum plus shipping costs (not included) every month to recieve 2 figures, like it is said in the terms it's a subscription.
If one wants the whole collection it may be a valuable bargain, no bad surprise to be expected since it's the very manufacturer that offers the deal. Yet since I only want the big chap, I'll pass.

Ditto, if it was $10 a month flat out, I'd subscribe. People were discussing in the comments on the Eaglemoss facebook page that the actual subscription cost would be, like, double that, and I said "f**k that noise". I'll just wait and see what they release and then pick up what I want off ebay like I've done with other Eaglemoss stuff.
No interest personally, just wanted to share the offer I found.

What a cool subscription series this is going to be. The Big Chap looks a little disproportionate but that runner looks like meat!
@Prez: You neglected to mention the regular horrendous Summer fires with fronts 10's of kilometers wide that unstoppably march across the landscape at over 60km/h, incinerating everything in their path. Yeah. Fun place. As I live in rural Victoria, I'm lucky so far to have avoided one of those.

I just checked Ebay and you're not kidding. Was it limited availability or something?
Just pre-ordered 2 of the Johner figurines. I like the pose of him aiming his thermos shotgun. About time the franchise gave Ronny P some merchandise love.
I've got to say that this Johner is pretty well done, great likeness of Ron P.
It's a shame that Hudson and Dallas look horrible, I still don't know how quality may vary from this end to another...

Yes I was underwhelmed by Hudson, Dallas and Hicks. The monsters all look good but so far Johner is my favorite human sculpt.
It's interesting that they even did a Johner sculpt because while him and Christie are my favorites right behind Hicks and Hudson, there's a lot of other prominent characters from the earlier films and Resurrection never had a lot of merchandise.
I'm definitely not complaining though, I can't wait till they arrive.

Also, they announced a couple future collectibles for Alien Day:

Seen some close-ups of the first production statues... I feel really disappointed.
http://news.toyark.com/2017/02/28/eaglemoss-aliens-predator-statues-toyark-photo-shoot-244961
Texture is far from being smooth : many noticeable parallel lines, as if they were 3D-printed (and I guess they are, at least the master molds). Let's not talk about the paint, which is, pardon my french, no less than a mess.
Indeed they're affordable but not that cheap either, and overall IMO they don't stand a chance against NECA quality / price ratio.
I was thinking to take a chance on a couple of them, but after what I saw I'm having second thoughts. And that's too bad, I liked the Big Chap pose so much... :-\
The alignment for the paint on the 'DALLAS' name plate is appalling.

That's like bad 4 color registration on old Gold Key comics. lol.
-Windebieste.
$30 a piece doesn't seem that cheap for sculpts/paint jobs like that. I could see these as half that price, maybe.
My thoughts exactly, especially when compared to NECA series. And let's not forget that we Europeans or Down Unders should pay almost twice that much ! That's why I'll give up, they're just not worth it.
But again, that's sad because I liked some of those... Perhaps someday on the bargain market...
On secondary market, these things can go either way. Some of them drop in price, others escalate wildly. I count myself lucky at buying a pair of loose NECA Predalien and Wolf figures for $40, postage included. In Australia.
-Windebieste.
Got my Mega Xenomorph yesterday, looks great I think.

I think that classic Xenomorph is the best out of this Eaglemoss brand. I was hoping the Berserker Predator had better quality, but after seeing more pics it's not so great.
I am hoping that this Engineer figure turns out looking better when it's released later this year. I didn't mind the NECA engineer figure (with no helmet/spacesuit), but I prefer the look so far on this figure below. We shall see...

I'd love to buy them but at $30 a pop, they're literally more expensive than the NECA remakes and that's kinda unreasonably steep.
I really love that new companies are revisiting these older designs. I know it's appealing to nostalgia a bit but I still love it. The modernized approach works a lot better.
In regards to the original Kenner line. I remember having Ripley, Drake and a few of the Bugs, but I really disliked them. What was the deal with those figures? Why did they stray so far away from likeness?
With the human characters, it was literally because they didn't have the rights to use the actors' likenesses.
That and it was more culturally acceptable at the time to market R rated films to children than it is today. You had animated series based on very adult movies like Robocop, Rambo, and Starship Troopers. An Aliens one was planned as well. They would do different designs so they could sell more toys. But hey the expanded universe has always had crazy stuff, the Kenner lines hold some serious nostalgia for people. It was one of the ways I was introduced to the franchises.

Whoa, that Alien King (based on the Rogue, I imagine) is righteous.
Definitely looks like the Rogue King! Doesn't seem to resemble that recent Sideshow bust. I dig it!
That's awesome they went with an Alien King design for sure! I will say that Sideshow bust is the best looking design I've seen though! I painted a 4-5 inch resin model that was 3D printed from that Sideshow sculpt ;D since that bust is wayyy $$$
Another big special edition one. Glow in the dark Mega Alien:

And a glow in the dark Grid variant as well:

They're really going for it!
Would love me some screen accurate alien covenant figures, or some based on alien isolation.
Oh, Hell yes. Especially if they cap that gaping hole that NECA missed out on filling - a Working Joe figurine, please, Eaglemoss.
Must. Haz. Working Joe.
-Windebieste.
They have Alien Isolation listed on their packaging so that's bound to happen sooner or later.
God I'd love to get, like, every single one of these figurines but $30 a pop is just too hard to swallow.
Mmmmmh, after second thoughts, I'll finally let myself into buying the first wave Big Chap xeno. I've read here and there it's better in person than the pictures can tell.
The Nostromo crew members, although not as well designed as NECA would / could do, are pretty tempting too.
Finally took the plunge today and ordered some Eaglemoss merch ... but not their Alien range ... actually two of their Star Trek starships (the Enterprise 1701A and 1701D). Got both of Ebay for great prices. I might wait to see if any Alien ones pop up at reasonable prices too.
I subscribe to the Star Trek Starship magazine series. They're generally pretty good. Not always great but I do love they come with the magazines.

I wish I started earlier ... some of those ships look brilliant and being a Trek nerd I'm kind of kicking myself now.
Really looking forward to their Nostromo and Sulaco models.

Arrived busted (base broken, and tail cracked). Yay !... :-\
That being said, despite the fact that the resin seems to be quite fragile and the clamshell unprotective, this issue made it possible to see that there is a metal wire "skeleton" inside Eaglemoss figures. That doesn't prevent them from breaking of course -mine is a "living" proof of it- but it's better than nothing (and it helped the cracked tail to hold together).
After chilling out, fixing it (and obtaining a half refund from the E*ay seller), all that I can say is "nice".
The sculpt, the details, the paintjob, everything is nicely done, not perfect but for a tiny 15cm resin figure it's really neat and decent-looking (mind that the mouth is for instance 2mm wide !), although still a little bit expensive.
I was looking for an original Big Chap small-size statue with a nice pose, well, here it is. No need for me to buy the Kotobukiya 90-dollar PVC.
The funny thing about these "3D-printed-like" lines that were bothering me so much before buying it, is that they can only be spotted on macro shots, with the bare eye it's actually unnoticeable.
Yeah this has unfortunately been happening to me more often lately. Lambert, Falconer, and the Queen all arrived broken. Seemed to start around the time they switched from plastic clam-shell to styrofoam packaging. Thankfully with all three instances I emailed Eaglemoss customer service and replacement shipments were ordered within 24 hours, contrasted with when I used to collect NECA when often they simply would never respond. If it continues too much though I may need to reconsider my subscription. Hopefully Eaglemoss can improve the packaging and use resin that is less brittle going forward.
Queen sculpt looks fantastic though.
Greetings to all :)
I just bought 2 of these figures Dallas & Parker. I don't usually open the packages unless I'm displaying them. After reading previous posts. I got worried that they may be broken. I opened the Parker figure and it was OK.
I took scans of the booklet included in case there was any interest.

Just got notified that the Homeworld Predator will be arriving soon!
On another note, Eaglemoss would be the prefect company to do some DotS hybrids. I wouldn't mind having one on my desk.
Just bought Brett, arrived broken too (polystyren packaging, no clamshell). 2 out of 2... well done Eaglemoss...
And that's too bad, because the likenesses are quite neat for the size.
I'll post a picture when it's fixed.
I'll eventually pick the Nostromo someday, and their upcoming Battlestar Galactica Viper Mk2.
Just to see if their vehicules are sturdier than the regular figures.

I've been getting their Star Trek Starships since they came out about 4 years ago or so and during that time I've only had one ship arrive broken.
Fair enough considering the thin design of ST starships (especially the engines' pods).
The problem with their "figure" line is the weight of the bases : 3/4 of the overall figure weight, so no wonder how much protected they can be in the polystyren or the clamshell, if a shock on the box occurs during delivery (in my case I'm talking about 5 to 7 days journey), the base' weight makes the figure snap where the body is connected to it : mostly to the feet.
But despite all these breaking issues, I must say after this second purchase that I'm eager to buy more of their 1979 alien figures, they're quite unique and nice looking ; this may not seem much, but the fact that EVERY figure base is different from the other is really really appealing for the colletor I am !
So, after the Nostromo (ordered late yesterday, couldn't resist ;D), I think Parker and Lambert will come sooner or later too.
Brett, as I promised.
I too just ordered the retro snes alien v predator figures, and also the alien3(dog alien) figure. The alien 3 version is actually my favorite version of the alien with the Big Chap a close second then the aliens version 3rd! Waiting on ripley now. ;D
Bought the Nostromo model. Really like it. Just the right size for the desktop and nicely detailed.
I really like the Eaglemoss collection but if I had one complaint...I would have liked them to be about 2-3 inches taller. But can't really complain, I really hope they do the alien covenant figures now. Would love to have the neomorph!

Nice, that's awesome that they made one based on the deleted scene version.
So, I'm curious? With all the figures being broken upon arrival...how are these figures shipped? Are they shipped in a shipping box? I'll be really upset if mine arrive damaged. I'm very particular about the boxes especially.
They come wrapped in styrofoam in the box. My Homeworld Predator's staff broke when I was opening it, but it was my fault because I dropped it and it hit a table on the way down.

Yeah, that's pretty cool. I'm tempted by that one too. I love it when these companies go off the official track a little bit and have a play.
Yeah that mutated Fifield is a great new addition to this line & definitely good to see some new choices on the figures each time!

So far, my 2 EM figures came broken. Shipping / handling must have been terrible though since the parcels were busted each time (thank you so-called "Pitney Bowes", E*ay delivery system as I've been told). That being said, they look particularly fragile anyway. The fact that the base is really heavy is nice for displaying, but since the styro (or clamshell, depends on the release date) doesn't fit, a shock on the box creates a stress on the base junction, so as a consequence the feet tend to snap.
By the way, I recieved my numbered Nostromo today (1417/3000), in perfect condition this time (since it's hollow, well-protected in styro and separated from its base).
I have to admit it looks fantastic, the scale is spot on, not too big and yet so many scrumptious details that are a treat for the eye, even a few feet away. Nice and easy to display with a heavy and well-designed metal / acrylic stand that does not bend (contrary to the NECA Cinemachines).
I'm also impressed by the paint, not perfect of course but it looks like a real model kit, not a mere piece of glossy cheap ABS ; a little more wethering touches here and there to uniformize a few lacks (especially on the front antennas) and a black wash to reinforce the depth of the carved panel / lines, and it will be just awesome.
I'll eventually post a few pics when it's done ;).
Yeah, the Nostromo really looks nice and I may get it eventually. But I'm waiting for the Sulaco which is coming out I think later this year. Found that out when I subscribed to Eaglemoss about a week ago.
Minor paint corrections done. I just love that ship in this particular scale !

I have to admit I think your Nostromo looks better than the original. Great job!! I just received my 2 figures from eaglemoss, the alien 3 xenomorph and the Snes alien v predator figurines. Other than the very tip of the alien3 dog alien tail being broken they look awesome.

Amanda Ripley and more Kenner Aliens, I love it.
I've said it before - I'd love to get these things, but not at, like, $30 a pop. For $20 I can get a fully articulated, painted, and substantially larger NECA revamp of a Kenner design, so $30 for a figurine is a bitter pill to swallow. I'd consider $10, maybe even $15 for these figurines.
The Kenner pair have been known about for some time - the other 2 are new to me.
Amanda and the Trilobite. Now, wouldn't that make a great children's book?
-Windebieste.
This is their 3rd Kenner set. They have also made Gorilla & bull, and mantis & snake.
The other pair of Kenner tribute 2 packs? Sure. I'm aware of those. I was referring to Amanda and the Trilobite. Hadn't seen those 2 before.
Does this mean we'll see a Working Joe figurine, finally..? That would be neat. It's the one item on my wish list NECA didn't deliver for the ALIEN Isolation set.
-Windebieste
I would kill for a working joe figure, preferably by NECA. Thought they were a super cool addition to the alien universe.
Found this beauty today!

Holy Crap!! I have to own that one. It's looks awesome!
That's pretty cool! Great pose for this line, they're coming out with so many different statues!
RidgeTop sent me a snap of the Cocooned Woman from Aliens he had. I hadn't noticed Eaglemoss had done one of those. I thought it looked pretty swanky and I'm thinking of picking up one of those now.
Amanda's Smoke Bomb device prop is grossly over scaled in that figure.
-Windebieste.
Has anyone had any dealings with eaglemoss as far as returns/or replacements for broken figures? My Queen Alien arrived broken in several spots and didn't know if I should fix it myself or do a return? I've read somewhere on the net that they shipped a replacement figure free of charge to someone whose figure arrived broken. But the website says that a return is on the shipper to pay for postage but it doesn't say anything about a damaged figure during shipping? Thanks in advance!
Not with the A/P line but I've had a broken Star Trek model. Just sent them a picture and they shipped a replacement - no fuss.

Trust me on this, for I own their Nostromo, it's going to be worth the money.
Unfortunately it's not available in their french store yet, but as soon as it is in stock, I'm definitely buying it !
Also, in case you've missed them, Alien3 Ripley, Weyland-Yutani Commando, and cocooned Aliens hive victim are worth taking a look.
Eaglemoss have released The Amanda Ripley model early. Had a shipping notification from Forbidden Planet so I called them to check and they confirmed it had been released early.
These look like oversized gaming miniatures..
Wish they would do 28mm versions of these.... :P
You might like to look into the Galoob ALIENS MicroMachines and maybe also Kenner's ALIENS Action Masters set. The scale is all over the place on these items but they are tiny - at the size you may like. The MicroMachine Sulaco might suit you.
They are metal cast, made in the 1990's. A little dear if you want them in original packaging but loose items are very affordable. Here's series 1, 2 and 3 of the MM's:

My error. The Action Masters items are die cast metal.

Man they are really digging deep for obscure stuff, I like it.
Yeah, you gotta admire Eaglemoss. The quality could be better but I really like that they personalize each figure with something that made their character unique and putting that in the sculpt. I've got several Eaglemoss Alien figures but I'm waiting on some Alien3 prisoner figures hopefully🤞🏻. And why do they not have a ripley figure from the first movie yet?? They have ripley from Aliens,Alien3 and Resurrection( I have all the ripleys except the resurrection figure). I want Ripley from Alien in the white spacesuit.
Good morning friends, I'm thinking of buying the figure of Noland. Does anyone have it ?, could you upload some photos? Thanks
Recieved the limited edition Sulaco (1484 / 3000), and oh my, it's even better in person than the promotional pics.
Contrary to the wide Nostromo which was half plastic half metal and felt hollow (but overall an oustanding ship), the narrower and thin Sulaco is almost full metal, so an heavier ship (antennas on the nose are plastic of course).
Comes with a nice mate metal stand with a transparent rod to hold it, in a dynamic nose-high attitude.
The level of details and the paint quality are astounding for the price, it could almost be used as a stop-motion prop. Eaglemoss really improved compared to the Nostromo, 4 shades of "pixeled" grey and a darker wash in the finely engraved panel lines make it a superb and must have ship.
The only slight defect was that the "uss SULACO" markings were painted glossy, but a touch of mate model kit varnish made it nearly perfect.
I'm so glad to have it at home, if you have any interest in spaceships, just one advice : get it while you can !
Pictures speak for themselves 8)

AH dude, Give me a working joe before you go jeri on us. :-X
Jeri is great, cool to see them do a statue of him.
Jeri looks great, they even added the cigar. More EU characters please!
I didn't even know this peculiar xeno character (as far as I don't read comics) !
Looks sweet and funny with this blaster and the cigar.
Hes an android ;)
Jeri is great fun! Easily one of the more memorable once you've read the series.
Wasnt Norbert badically the same character (a humble Alien android) but created by another scientist? Not sure which came first.
I'm a figure guy, not really a statue guy. I would
LOVE if Neca did these.

I can't blame them to offer such a vast ammount of statues, but these two look a bit off.
The likeness on Burke looks like someone other than Paul Reiser, but I can't quite place who.

Yikes whats up with Top Knots wrist blades?
These things are cheap, even in promo photos stuff is bent.
In person, these little statues (4 to 5 in") look better than the promotion pics that are zoomed to the max (for the two I own -Brett and Big Chap), but I have to agree that some look odd / way off (Predators mostly).
Clearly, they're really better at crafting spaceships, Sulaco and Nostromo are absolutely gorgeous.
That Dillon and Power Loader with Ripley look SWEET. I hope the later would suit with the Eaglemoss Alien queen.

Eaglemoss is also holding a survey for fans' opinions on what ships they should do next:

Apologies in advance but those are profusely ugly.
Their ships are exquisite though.
Not gonna lie, their Predators could use some work, but they're fun little collectibles. And I do think their larger format and spaceship ones look quite nice.
Eaglemoss is doing a deal for new subscribers where you can start with 2 Aliens (Big Chap and Dog Alien) or 2 Predators (Scar and Jungle Hunter) for $15 total and free shipping. I signed up for the Aliens because $7.50 a pop sounds like a good deal, and then I'll immediately cancel after they arrive. :P

Around that, yeah. I also believe Eaglemoss is doing a sale right now for their Alien/Predator stuff, at least in the US store.
Also, they just announced the Queen.

I really like the scene appropriate bases for each figure.
This looks unbelievably good, especially compared to some of the other pieces from this line.
Getting Eaglemoss products in Australia is rather tricky ... right now they're fulfilment supplier went bust so they don't ship to Australia at all. Add to that the limited range we get it's supremely frustrating.

It would look perfect on Thunderbird 2; but that colour is certainly out of place on the Dropship.

I dunno, still doesn't look quite right. :-\
The paint doesn't look "movie-accurate" indeed, but it has a nice ammount of stencils and wear marks on it, and the sculpt looks pretty decent to me. To be fair, the small Konami dropship I own has the same kind of Vietnam-era "USMC green" hull.
Still, I was expecting better with this one, especially the black painted cockpit which could have featured a small transparent piece of plastic on this scale (I mean, this is a 27cm ship !). Sadly, I'll pass.
I found an Eaglemoss Predator 2 Statue for more than 50% off, liked it, and decided to give a subscription a try.
You can start with Alien or Predator, I opted for Predator, and received both Scar and the Jungle Hunter for $9.95 (including shipping). Can't beat that.
So far, I'm loving these. And just so you know, you can tailor your subscription. I called Eaglemoss and you can opt out of any pieces you want, as many as you want. Rather just have the Predator statues? No problem. Just the Alien statues? No problem. Just your favorites? No problem.
I opted out of more than half of the statues. So far, so good.
How many Marines does Eaglemoss currently have? I've only seen Hicks and Hudson, and I'm split on them. Hudson looks . . . OK. Definitely stylized and could use some work, but I can recognize it as the character. Hicks on the other hand, I'll have to pass. He looks generic, and has the same problem as the MacFarlane version: he's ridiculously pale and has no resemblance at all to Michael Biehn.
NECA's Hicks is by far the best, but I haven't seen any figures that nail the Biehn resemblance. Most look either too pale or really jaundiced.

In regards to the Marines available, just Hudson and Hicks. It would be great if they added Vasquez, though!
Yeah, the Hicks statue doesn't look exactly like Michael (as you pointed out, what really does), but remember these are small statues. Also Hicks looks far better facially than other statues in this Aliens line, like Burke (he's not too bad) but especially Bishop. Out of all three, to me, Hicks looks most like the actor who played him.

Yeah, they're definitely doing themselves a disservice by not mentioning that on their website, but I can 100% unequivocally confirm you can opt out of statues. I called their customer service number and spent 10 minutes on the phone going through which statues I wanted on my subscription.
Question? Are all the statues after your initial order $9.95 with free shipping? Or after that are they the SRP of $29.95 plus shipping?
If every statue is $9.95 with free shipping with the subscription. That's cheaper than the wholesale cost.
No the subscription continues at $39.90 monthly. So that breaks down to $19.95 each statue from here on in.
I also pay $4.90 monthly in shipping & handling (that's total, not per statue) which breaks down to $2.45 per... but I don't know if that amount changes depending on which country you live in.
Hope that helped! :)

Thank you. :) The price your paying even with shipping is still less than the U.S.A. retail price of $29.95 per figure. If my memory serves me I think wholesale its 40 percent off. Not including shipping.

And let's say you limited your subscription to 10 statues you like. Once you factor in the $9.95 for the first two statues, it averages out to $16.95 each. So it's a very good deal versus just buying them outright through their online shop.
Plus, I'm supposed to be getting a free gift at some point for subscribing, but who knows when that will come, what it will be and if I'll even like it.

Something's wrong with it IMO, I can't really figure out what, perhaps the lack of contrast / wethering in the paintjob, but despite the smaller scale I find my tiny Konami far more accurately sculpted and painted. Pictures of the NECA Cinemachines' look way better too.
After the somehow disappointing Dropship, I'm starting to believe they're better at sculpting bigger ships (the Galactica, Nostromo and Sulaco I own are gorgeous, by comparison).
For 60$ I'll easily sit this one out again.
I keep meaning to collect a bunch of different renditions of the Narcissus and compare them to each other and see if/how their little greeblies and sculpted details and stuff match up with each other, and which one is the "most screen accurate".

@RidgeTop. Nice one!
Yeah, this pose is definitely Runner related, too bad they didn't treat the A3 xeno this way !
Also, just a (poor) picture of my Brett and Big Chap I recently put alongside one another to recreate the ambience of an iconic scene we all love here. The geometric bases create a nice continuity, and from the distance it looks like a small diorama.
I guess the xeno in this attack pose could look nice with every doomed Nostromo crewmember they released to the date (Parker and Lambert mostly).
I'd put the Alien behind him, as if he's looking at the shed skin and has no idea he's about to get jumped. :P

"I shall have to report this to Apollo."
When you look at the wide figure range they already released (including surprising ones like Jeri or CGI mutated Fifield), no wonder the day of a working joe will come ;).
By the way, recieved Lambert today, my figure shop was discounting its Eaglemoss statues for 13€, so I jumped on the occasion and here are a few pics.
Half the scale of a NECA figure, but still a good ammout of details. The pose and face capture Lambert's attitude nicely, and the base with the scattered canisters immediately reminds of her last run before her doom, so this one is definitely worth buying.
I'm most probably getting Parker some day to join her ;D.
You're right, Lambert is a good one. Thanks for sharing those pics.
I'm collecting all the Predators first via a subscription, then it will be Ripley and the Marines. Some statues are certainly better than others but so far I've received 5 and I'm pretty happy with them all. I probably should share individual pictures like you did which can help others decide who are on the fence.
I don't know how you could buy Brett though, without his best buddy Parker! ;D
Yup, I think it's helpful indeed, because some of these little fellas look better in person than the promotional images show.
Parker was out of stock at the moment I decided to order my first Eaglemoss characters statues, so I picked the Big chap, Brett, and a few months later Lambert. But this will soon be fixed ::).
Here comes the Fugitive Predator!

The gold isn't very prominent in those pics.
But overall I'm pretty happy with it including the helmet's dimensions, but wouldn't be opposed to touching the paint up slightly once I get it in hand.

I had always assumed that the Jungle Hunter's backpack was a power source or something related to the plasmacaster, but when you think about it, City Hunter didn't have a backpack.

City Hunter's caster seemed to be a little less powerful than Jungle Hunter's. Maybe he chose one without the big power source to reduce weight, accepting a little less stopping power.
Isn't the back pack a med kit?
Then I guess Jungle Hunter's med kit was way, way more extensive, because it took up a lot more space on his back than City Hunter's.
Wasn't jungle hunters medpack just the tip of his backpack ?
I always had the impression it was the medikit in the top and some powersource for the caster in the rest of it.
Eaglemoss's site was having a sale on a bunch of human characters so I grabbed Amanda Ripley, she's pretty cool although her ponytail came broken off in the packaging. It was a very easy fix with superglue, but it's still unfortunate that it came damaged.
Yeah, saw it too but the prices were still too high here in France to buy compulsively (19€ with discount, 25 without).
This is unfortunate your figure came broken, however needless to say it's quite frequent with those... (2 out of the 4 I own came broken too).
Which leads me to my new acquisition : Parker.
Long time have I waited for this one, which was out of stock nearly everywhere, or if available, overpriced for my wallet (in the 35€ range + 20-30€ shipping). I found it by chance in a dutch model kit store for a whopping 11€, talk about luck !
The Kotto likeness is spot on, especially from profile view, and the uniform, although quite sober and simple, is nicely done.
The prod came non broken, but alas awefully bent, I had to straighten it using a lighter's flame (to soften the resin) and my fingertips.
The major advantage of this figure is clearly the pose which is really dynamic, capturing the tension Parker experiences at this time of the movie (no need to say it comes great with Brett and the Big chap, but with a flamethrower in its hands, it could have looked fantastic with Lamber too).
As always, paint isn't absolytely perfect and the surface aspect shows a few tiny bubbles here and there in the resin, but overall it's an outstanding little figure of this iconic character.

If you're looking for inexpensive but good looking glass cases, get a Detolf from IKEA for $60 and light them up with some LED lights. I used LED strip lighting that I got on Amazon for $20, but other people have used puck lighting, or the LED light bars that IKEA sells.

I wouldn't bet on NECA, but since Eaglemoss has a surprisingly vast range of figures in their Alien series, I would guess so, sooner or later. I mean : they made Ripley, Lambert, Parker and Brett in their Nostromo crew garments (all four being really enjoyable figures), so I wouldn't be surprised if the others came next at some time.

Have Ian Holm/his representatives outright said they won't allow his likeness to be used?
I mean, his likeness is in 'Alien Isolation'.
They certainly didn't seem to use Lance Henriksen's likeness when making Bishop. More like Clay Aiken.

I have maybe 3 or 4 stores here in Adelaide that stock Neca merch and usually they sell out pretty quick. Of course there is the price hike too. Standard Xeno Figurine is probably $55-65. Sound about right to you?

I've been wondering the same thing. I also wonder how long until their pre-Disnox license runs out.
I hope not, but if indeed they're ending the figure statue line, then 50 would definitely be a good point to stop at.

I dunno, the place I get most of my collectables and hobby stuff sent from started out as a small geek store, the owners just saw which way things were going and were in a position to adapt their business model - now they're one of the biggest online retailers in the country. As the market changes, businesses need to change with it, sink or swim. Sucks if you're one of the ones that sink, but that's the risk of doing business.
This eaglemoss collection is being released here in Brazil, and it's actually a reseanoble price. I've been collecting the neca figures, and they're sold around here for R$:200 - 250 (around 50 US$) depending on the figure, while the eaglemoss statues costs R$:100,00 (around 23 US$). Since I love statues and can't afford anything more expensive than the Neca Figures, I've decided to give these a try and ordered the City Hunter and the Scar Predator.

I actually liked them quite a bit, they're charming little collectibles. Scar is easily the best of the two, with better paint aplication and sculpt, his base is also really awesome. I'm sold, I'll start picking a few of these for my collection.
Nice pics! Yeah, Scar is one of the best sculpts for sure. Overall I felt the whole line improved in quality as new figures were released. I prefer Eaglemoss to NECA simply because they're statues, not figures, and a whole lot smaller and subsequently easier to display. :)

I've just ordered the Top Knot Predator (couldn't resist, I love the comics) and next month I plan on buying Berserker and Falconer, do you recomend them?

Yeah, I just went for the Predators that appeared in film, at least for now. :)
I do like the Bezerker and Falconer. And the AVP Elder is overall a nice sculpt too.

Oh.
Then nevermind! Pretend you never saw that! ;)
Topknot just arrived today!
Strangely, the promotional picture of the statue has some horribly bend wristblades:
(https://scontent.fcgh11-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/fr/cp0/e15/q65/73225735_1276025995902766_2245721103521546240_o.jpg?_nc_cat=108&efg=eyJpIjoidCJ9&_nc_oc=AQklZDpqg8uL02dFU4jOwi0ao6VLCV9XoQ6Ud6OlDQL14MFJ78KK5DmDuzheidJosn4&_nc_ht=scontent.fcgh11-1.fna&oh=f22a275e3faab82e61194ba404071b23&oe=5E574795)
But fortunately, that's not the case with the actual statue:

Overall, I really like this one, I'm glad I've decided to start picking up some statues of the eaglemoss collection. His sculpt and paint is very good, and accurate to the character from the comics. I forgot he had dual Plasma Casters, and that's way before the Wolf Predator! They did add one AvP movie element with the Shuriken in his belt, pretty sure that didn't exist in the comic. There's a sword in the base, but it's been awhile since I've read this comic and I don't remember the significance of it.

Wow...I never realized he has dual plasma casters until now.
One of the other statues also had a defect in a picture they took for the packaging, but I can't remember which. Crazy.
I did find that Eaglemoss Customer Service is pretty great if you ever have a problem though, at least it was in the U.S.

Me neither, it's great that they included the detail.
Now I'll know to expect it when NECA inevitably does a Topknot figure as well. :P
Huh, me either. I always thought Wolf was the only one.
Add my name to the list of people who never noticed it either, even though I've read War several times. :P
I was flipping through Aliens Vs. Predator War, and that sword in Top Knot's base is the one he uses to cut the Alien Queen's eggsack. Nice attention to detail Eaglemoss ;)
I've owned War since it was first published and I never noticed the dual plasmacasters lol.
Berserker and Falconer are here folks!

Yeah, between hitting 50 pieces and acquiring more popular licenses, I was suspecting this line might reach its conclusion.
That's too bad, I'm enjoying the line.
I hope they will support this series, even without new figures. I haven't bought everything yet!

I think this one is a nice addition to the collection of any fan that loves the comics, it's a great representation of the character with only one minor difference: the dreadlocks on the statue aren't tied together like the ones from the comic, but that's no big deal. Even if you haven't read the comic, it's still a cool piece and very different from any other Predator.
And now the video game two pack:

Not owning the Homeworld Predator it's good to see it up close. I'm not a big fan of that particular comic series but I think Eaglemoss did a rather nice job capturing the likeness. Pretty good paint job too! Dare I say, I do think I would be tempted to extend those black streaks (for lack of a better word) to the brow of the helmet as well as darken its rim. Might be near perfect then. But either way, looks good!
The totally-smooth Predator mask on the Homeworld figurine is pretty unique and eye-catching, I wouldn't mind seeing NECA replicate it and take a stab at the character.

Eaglemoss is offering 30% off today with promo code ALIEN, and announced a new ship for their collection, the Betty from 'Alien Resurrection'.
Also the site says in no uncertain terms that certain items are excluded from the ALIEN promo code, including the Betty; they're lying though, the promo code totally works if you have more than one Alien item in your shopping cart. ;D
Alternately if you only want the Betty, the ALIEN code doesn't work.... but the code SURVEY20 does. ;D

I'm bummed,
I tried to buy two statues yesterday, but the checkout process would just loop me back to the basket section every time!
I have E-mailed them, No answers... Take my money and let me support this franchise dammit.
You should try Australia... there are some discounts but nothing huge and all the really good stuff is sold out.

I preordered that on Alien Day, definitely looking forward to it.

i like the detail on the lift, is $60 a good price? ???
Love the little Alien on the cabin, but I still can't bring myself to think the Eaglemoss stuff is worth the cash.
I own many of them and still would agree.

I didn't even notice the Alien until you pointed it out.

That's just what they call their large format collectibles.

Oh. Okay. This past weekend saw an arcade cabinet for Aliens: Armageddon. It featured many different forms of xenomorphs. And saw a massive version of Chestbursters. So thought was from that.
The paintwork appears to be a bit pedestrian, especially for a $150 collectible. :-\

...That's Eaglemoss quality for you...
Zaavi is offering a good deal right now. Some of these are heavily discounted (like the Alien Cloaked Predator figure that had no business being $51.49 is now $14.99) and a bunch are 3 for $30. Check it out:

Does anyone have the Machiko statue? I'm considering picking her up, but can't find any pictures of the real thing.
Your wise for wanting to see the Eaglemoss figures. While I like the ships and some of their figures. Some likenesses are terrible IMO. I looked over the sale offer Voodoo Magic posted about. Some of these offered for less than the wholsale price. I would love the Johner & Gediman figures. Especially Johner its awful. Even for less than wholsale I can't do it.
Yeah, I like all the ones that I have, but I only have Predators and Aliens, no humans yet. She will be my first human figurine, but I wanted to make sure she doesn't look terrible.
I've got Amanda Ripley and she's pretty good for the scale.
New ship coming

I liked the parts where it rotates
I didn't know the Prometheus had black and yellow trim.
Well, it's not really apparent in the actual movie but I definetly remember seeing it somewhere before

It's the lighting and intensity of the paintjob.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Unboxing vid for the Betty.
You know how much I dislike Eaglemoss in general, but that actually looks like it was pretty well made!

Just curious, but how come?
Terrible quality control.
Y'all think there's any chance of getting the Auriga or even something not from the films like Sevastopol Station?

Terrible quality control.
At least they immediately replace something when it breaks out of the box...
True. I did used to get my Star Trek ships replaced when they arrived missing a nacelle or something. But still...I'd rather not. I've learnt to wait and see what they actually look like with Eaglemoss.
Seems to be some serious discounts on the eaglemoss site today.. Most of the good stuff has gone already though. I did a total impulse buy on the Alien 3 runner.
Hope quality is okay :/ can take a punt for a fiver though

They have some larger sized re-releases of their ships planned, and a yellow Nostromo:

They did do a Derelict: https://www.amazon.com/Predator-Collection-Eaglemoss-Hero-Collector/dp/B085F1ZLNZ
I think the only larger sized ones currently announced are the Nostromo and Sulaco.
