That's good, though.  Predator always had that comic book vibe to it.

SiL

Comic book is fine. Fan fic is not.

Scorpio

The comics books have a lot of crazy stuff in them though that could be fan fiction.

Some of them have been adapted into the movies like bad blood predators.

If you find out some kind of vital secret to do with UFOs and threaten to go public, you could be plausibly targeted for assassination.

Just randomly witnessing one isn't going to lead to that, however...
Do you think Shane Black was smart enough to make that conclusion or are yout assuming Jane's brief summary is literal in that his lack of intricate detail means the film has no intricate detail?

QuoteThis has a very fan-ficcy vibe to it. :-\
Can say that about any idea presented especially if you have poor vision of the execution.

Master

There is only so much you can do with certain ideas.

Hollywood

That's a pretty easy and vague thing to say though, isn't it? On paper the idea of Wolverine fighting a younger clone of himself could elicit the same reaction.

Master

Not even close to TP ideas. They'll elicit reactions, that's certain.

Saturday Morning Cartoon.. but with gore.
This is going to be like Halloween H20 with the all star cast . .....hopefully not as forgettable.

skhellter

There's still time to retitle the film OPERATION: PREDATOR.  :P

Ideas based on the script or Thomas Jane's interview?

Scorpio

They should go crazy as f**k with it, not just rehash same old same old.

Female predators with big booobies, that kind of thing.

skhellter

Maybe if the next film is directed by Paul Verhoeven.

KiramidHead

If we're handing off Arnold properties to Verhoeven, he should just remake The Running Man.

Scorpio

Verhoeven directed Arnold in the original Total Recall.

I'm well aware.
