Don't other video games cut into your ACM time?

I am holding out that a future Alien script has it revealed Amanda didn't age and die, instead have her in cryo and then Mother (after Blomkamps possible film resetting up the time line) team up film where Ellen (Sigourney Weaver) hands over the fight the company and its Xenomorph dream to a new generation for the movie screen.
I'm not saying dont finish David's story but a more traditional aliens film following the Isolation story would be great.

Jesus Christ I hope not, I think that's the ruin of the franchise's future (for me) put into a succinct scenario.

Seconded.

This is what I love about the Alien franchise, everyone has a strong feel for what they love about it and the pressure behind pleasingly everyone has led to a consistently strong franchise overall.

Back on topic for the game though I imagine it will be revealed Burke lied to keep the series going, Amanda has crossed over into the comics too so either way it works to bring the element of she can still die if the story wills it. Question is how to reveal to the audience he lied?

I just think the Mother/Daughter team up idea, presumably through Cryosleep shenanigans ventures too far into Doctor Who territory.

The best way I can put it, is try to explain it to someone who hasn't seen an Alien film, and if it sounds cheesy it doesn't belong in the Alien series.

Do you think they haven't considered it?

Hell, that's probably alien 5.

That idea could have come out of the pod on The Predator.

Kane's other son

Why should they retcon a movie that's 33 years old, just to tie it to a video game?

You can retcon anything, I guess. But for all intents and purposes, Burke is not lying when he tells Ripley about Amanda.

This may make sense. Burke is not lying about Amanda, because he was also deceived! He get info about Amanda from comp, but something else create this false info before him!

Star Wars tried that. It did not end well. They had to destroy what came before to elevate their visions, characters, stories, and lore...

There has been a lot of that going on in another Intellectual property...
