Hey everyone. I'm working on a project right now that is in the beginning stages but I think this is something special. I will be reimagining the score to the first Alien film, a much more sinister darker sound that I wished the first film and quite frankly all the scores had. I do enjoy what the composers brought to the table, however this is a fun project for me to do as a music composer. I will continue to post more details as things unfold and if all goes well I will do a score series of the first 3 films.
Darker than the first Alien score ? Damn that's gonna be dark as hell !

Yes darker way darker. I'll keep posting updates until it's finished. Mostly likely this will be a free download on a future Bandcamp page for this project. I will be working under the name XenoScorcher.

Most of my work has some licensing so I can't really post samples as of yet because technically I don't "own" that material anymore..But definitely stay posted for this Alien related material as it will be free to download once it's done. Thank you for the interest.

What I mean by darker is the overall tone. It's less orchestral and more drone-like and noisy. It's what I hear in my head when I watch certain elements of the films. Just a more sinister vibe.

Unfortunately I can't sorry mate! This weekend I will try to put together a Bandcamp page for this project and by early next week I will throw up a sample.
