Quick question about the AI

So it's well publicised that the Alien learns from your actions... But I was wondering - Does it learn from all your actions or just those from one safe point to the other? In other words, If you throw the smoke bomb then are killed, does it count that as a lesson learned for the Alien? Or by dying are your actions not regarded?

The AI "adapts" to your play style, but no, it's not self-aware. So if you do something and die that has no bearing on the game.

on Novice, I used the Flare more than 2 times in some spots. in Nightmare only once and sometimes never. IT's as if it's choosing it's path (or randomizing either way I got him!!).
