Can I play my saved progress under a different PSN account?

So my brother shares my PSN account and Im finally getting a PS5 with a years subscription to PSN so if I set up a new account and transfer the game saves to the PS5 will I be able to continue where I left off on my old account? I'm currently LVL 116 I don't want to restart from 0 and have to unlock all my gear again lol

You should be able to. Though it's not entirely the same thing, I copied my save data from PS4 over to PS5 when I got mine and everything was just how I'd left it.
