Speculation: Different "Fugitive" Predators?

Fugitive crash lands after fighting Assassin that's the damaged armor found and sent to the kid. Fugitive is brought to the lab and after escaping he armors up with the armor from the display case in the trailer (with the P1 helm) Assassin tracks him down to finish the fight and during the fight more Predators arrive setting up the sequel.

More or less correct.
Fugitive does not fight with Assassin before crash landing on Earth, at least in the early script. He just escapes and steals the Ark. Given that the hybrids are cut out we really don't know what's on the Ark actually after the reshoots.

And of course more Predators won't arrive.

The rest is correct.

To further spice up the discussion, Fugitives mask has scretches at the begining on the left side.

The real question is what could cause such a damage?
