It's just the age we live in man. I remember when the first movie came out, me and my cousin taped it off pay-per-view and watched it probably a dozen times. None of them will ever be as good as the first one. But I mean hey, big bootys and lots of cgi gets you a billion now. I can't really blame em.
I thought the first two movies had the most gratuitous booty. And the shittest CGI in the races, too.

This is an amazing franchise. It became a blockbuster by the 5th film and then turned it up a notch by the 7th film by becoming a cultural behemoth( Walker's passing had a say in this) .From then the only way is down.
What other franchise which follows 1 continuous storyline with the same bunch of characters can say the same? I don't think there is another.
My own interest in the franchise only started once I realized the 8th film was a billion dollar success in the cinemas. By this point I said to myself, I have to see these films. They did not disappoint imo
