Very, very disappointing. Casino Royale remains the standout film of the DC era for me.

1. Casino Royale ★★★★★
2. No Time To Die ★★★★
3. Skyfall ★★★★
4. Quantum Of Solace ★★★
5. Spectre ★★

No one will ever beat out Casino Royale in quality, foolish to expect that, I really really enjoyed it personally.

Its a good Bond movie,  sadly Ana De Armas was criminally under used,  she shold have got a lot more screen time.

I wonder how many changes were made to this (if any) compared to releasing it last year.

Satisfying and very heartfelt ending. Never thought I'd be close to tears watching a Bond film.

Ranking the Craig films:

Skyfall
Casino Royale
No Time To Die
Spectre
Quantum of Solace

Though Skyfall and Casino Royale would pretty much be a shared #1.

Part one of a Bond double bill of my show. Given that NTTD is a direct follow up to Spectre we thought best to review both.

And they couldn't be further apart in terms of reaction. Here's our overwhelmingly negative review of SPECTRE.

I've been listening to the audiobooks of the original Fleming novels for a bit now. I've read Casino Royale a couple of times before, but this is my first time with the sequels. Live and Let Die was very good, and Moonraker has been pretty great so far. Shame they f**ked up so badly with the movie.

I actually look forward to every new Bond era being a reinvention. It worked beautifully for the Craig movies... mostly, aside from big chunks of Spectre.

Go for a period setting with the next iteration. 50s/60s, go really pulpy with it.

I finished the audio book of Diamonds Are Forever. Not bad, really, but definitely the weakest of Fleming's books so far. The diamond smuggling plot just isn't that interesting, and the Spang Brothers are pretty weak villains.

I've started From Russia with Love, and the amount of backstory for Grant is... surprising. I'm on Chapter Four and Bond hasn't even shown up yet.
