I haven't been able to conclusively find whether Prometheus had a novelization released. I thought there was one outside the U.S., but I didn't know for sure.
There was one in Japan. I recall people paying a translator privately to get it in English, but I'm not sure if the work was ever finished.
Is there a reason why there isn't a novel of this out?
There is, it's just not in English.

One wasn't commissioned, that's all there is to it. We didn't get one for AVP2 or Predators, either. Authors get commissioned by the studio to write the novelisation, and in this case, nobody did. Well, nobody who speaks English, anyway.

That's a shame....I'm surprised they never did this.
I kinda had a thought of just doing one and putting it on here when I'm done with Alien Awakening. Would anyone be interested in that?
