The worst offender I've discvered is Predator: Forever Midnight. The cover is just a picture of the McFarlane Toys Celtic Predator.

- May 05, 2022, 06:08:25 AMI feel the Jungle Hunter design has just become the default "basic Predator" look. And to be fair, that's sort of how it's treated in the movies -- even P2 showed quite a few Predators with that armour or mask in different combinations. So it's not even being ordered to draw a specific Predator, so much as internalising that look as visual shorthand for one.

Modern covers are getting lazier with designs -- the Alien covers are awful -- but it's a fairly recent trend.
