I don't know that I'm crazy about this...CoR was so different than Pitch Black, I cringe at what would happend with a 4th film (counting Dark Fury as the 2nd).

I loved that film...one of his best films apart from Strays he directed, written and produced...

Vin only have been in two good movies IMO. Everything has been pop corn flicks or just plain bad. Vin is just a eye candy actor and everyone likes him because he has been one good or a popular movie.

There have been rumors about this since Chronicles came out.

Chronicles was fun, not much else.

Supposedly the sequel deals with King Riddick taking on the necromonger empire.

I didn't like CoR too much. The story and mythos of Riddick grew too big too fast and really ruined what could have been a decent B-movie franchise.
