Following the immense success of Alien Isolation and how well fans have taken to the inclusion of Amanda Ripley, we’ve heard from a reliable source that 20th Century Fox is set to include her in the upcoming Prometheus 2. Speaking exclusively to Alien vs. Predator Galaxy, our source advised that one of the latest draft of Ridley’s Scott’s sequel to Prometheus sees Noomi Rapace’s Elizabeth Shaw and Michael Fassbender’s David place themselves in stasis aboard the Engineer ship.

Now on a crusade to destroy the Xenomorphs following her nightmarish encounters aboard Sevastopol station and her recovery from free floating in space after (plot to be explored in Alien Isolation 2), Amanda Ripley comes across the Engineer ship as it journeys through space towards the Engineers’ home planet at the centre of the galaxy, amongst the oldest stars.

Our source from inside Scott Free Productions was also able to secure us a piece of conceptual artwork from Prometheus 2 that shows off one of the climatic sequences as Amanda and David (now fitted with some sort of Engineer artificial body) come across an Engineer whilst exploring an Engineer vessel or facility of some kind.

So Ripleys grown-up 'daughter' (as conceived by a spin-off videogame) comes across Shaw and David now.  Or vice versa.

Still, at least she's wielding a flame-thrower of some kind, as it's such a visually impressive weapon onscreen, as Alien proved.  The more movies that use one, the better, as far as I'm concerned. ;D

Have you played the game yet? Fantastic. I truly recommend locking yourself away for a day or two and just sinking into the world.

Because doing so would confuse the hell out of the audience.  Ninety percent of people who are going to watch Prometheus 2 won't have any clue who Amanda is or the story of Isolation.

That's what exposition is for. And to be honest, I'm sure most people will have seen the Special Edition where they mention Amanda. It's the one most commonly played on TV.

But like it says. That's just the current draft. I don't know if that's where they will actually go with it. Just what they're exploring at the moment.

Nope this is legit. They've got the same story up at Empire Online. Apparently Turk (played by Daniel Day-Lewis)  will also make an appearance in Prom2.

Nah. Can't trick me. We received this yesterday (mentioned it on our Facebook) and I waited to post whilst I verified it.

This will be the first time a movie in this series has acknowledged the EU as canon.  :)

As much as I like the fact that the movie is actively trying to include canon, this sounds like another publicity stunt by Ridley Scott (that's assuming this is legit and not an April Fool's Day stunt).

Ok, I'll take this seriously, but Man you're timing is so wrong!!

It tells me that Burke probably lied about Amanda.  Perhaps that is why he used such a pixelated image?  Here is my syllogism for why he lied:

-If Amanda died searching for the Aliens, and Burke did not know her true story then he was just trying to cushion the blow for Ripley so that she could know that her daughter lived to old age and died having a full life.

-If Amanda died searching for the Aliens, and Burke knew her true story as it was a part of a Weyland-Yutani program, then he may have just wanted to divert Ripley's attention from Amanda so that he could get her co-operation in exploring LV-426.

-If Amanda survived the events of Prometheus 2 and Burke knew about it, then he was obviously lying.

-If Amanda survived the events of Prometheus 2 but Burke did not know about it, then again he was obviously lying by presenting false evidence.  Given that W-Y knew about Amanda's involvement in Alien Isolation, he would have been able to see this in her file.

The inclusion of Amanda Ripley in Prometheus 2 creates a whole new tangle of webs...

He was indeed. However, after Blomkamp decided to recton Alien 3 out of existence Morse could no longer exist in the new continuum and was given the boot.

Ah man..... I always wondered what happened to Morse after Alien 3. I know he wrote a book, but that is about it. Btw... Alien 3 The Assembly Cut is quite good. I wouldn't retcon it.

Ok Corporal Hicks, so it is now exactly 12:01 PM in California which means April Fool's is now over internationally.  So are you still thinking this is real or is it time to come clean?   ;)

It does seem interesting in terms of timing considering that the actress from Alien isolation has been in the spotlight in the past few days...

We've been running the website for over a decade now and have provided numerous bits of leaked information over the various films. We know and check our sources - when we're not trying to prank you.  :)

This might have fooled more people if you had claimed that Ellen Ripley (instead of Amanda) would be in this and that it would tie into Alien 5.

Most of the active users from that time had gone. Only predxeno mentioned the old one. Turns out the current active members are more sceptical xD

Did try to give this one a little more backstory to it though. But yeah, we were working on this before Alien 5 was official so...Yeah. I enjoyed it though.

part of My problem with the first prometheus was that the technology was so advanced past what they had in alien and aliens. The lack of technology in space travel was part of the charm in alien
