I think an interesting question would be, is the marine campaign as good, worse, or better than Alien Trilogy? In my opinion, that game was superior to both original AvP games. Not that AvP 1 & 2 where necessarily bad (however I'll be honest I was never much of a fan of AvP1 aside from the Survivor mode), Alien Trilogy appealed to me more than those two games and remains one of my fondest gaming experiences. But thats just me.
