Looks like Shane may turn aside for the direction of Deathnote and prioritizing on Predator.

This calms my initial worries of the next movie just being developed but not actually a priority.
There's nothing here on that article saying that Shane will be turning down Death Note for Predator and this is a relatively short article. Shane may instead be prioritizing Doc Savage over Predator.. But looking over his IMDB credits, everything does seem to point out that he is putting Predator ahead of that as well. I suppose we'll wait and see what's going on.
All I hope is that Shane injects some sense back into this franchise and doesn't do anything too radical.
