Two questions in one here:

Are you satisfied with the current arsenal the Predator has access to in Hunting Grounds for release (Do you think its a good starting point)?

What additions do you think there should be to the arsenal and what should their mechanics in-game be?  This can be canon weapons or maybe your own unique ideas for what a Predator would likely wield.  Some creative interpretations on their technology I don't think is unwarranted.

I'm not intimate with the films, but I love the aesthetic of this universe for games, having played AvP 2010, Alien: Isolation, and looking forward to this upcoming game.  Here's a few of my takes:

Energy Flechette

A high energy dart used to burn through creatures with natural carapace or armor, then burst into shrapnel to create wounds to hinder prey.

- Energy Flechette consumes a small chunk of energy.  Upon a successful hit, it deals a small amount of damage to the victim, but puts them into a bleeding state, which will damage them overtime.  They will be forced to mend the wound which will take about ten seconds, which they cannot defend themselves or do any other actions in the meantime.  Canceling the mending process will reset it.  Completing a mend stops the bleeding but does not heal.

Disruptor

Used on hunts where prey uses forms of technology.  Disruptors leeches on technology and makes them unreliable.

- Placing a Disruptor will make the player's HUD unreliable overtime.  Upon placing, it will rotate and cause the players in range to lose each other's outlines and information on their team.  In 15 seconds, their HUD will glitch a moment to indicate the Disruptor breaking their HUD, and they will lose their ammo count.  An additional 15 seconds and the player loses their health bar and stamina bar.  30 seconds after that, the players will lose eyes on their objective markers, which grants them a secondary objective to find and destroy the Disruptor.

Honestly is there no cloaked traps like we see in the movie Predators?

Edit:  Apparently they do get the bear traps, haven't seen them used in-game yet though.

The disruptor sounds like a good idea.

They're actually pretty useful! Those trapped help me get kills.

From what I read they call it a "Bear Trap" in game tho, which kinda bothered me.

Predators probably don't know what a "bear" is.

Voodoo Magic

I think I need more time with the game before I can answer this question.

Somewhat related: We'd all love if someone on the Fire Team could pick up a combistick or smart disc and wield it if thrown, though.
